I was so excited to hear that a new Mongolian BBQ restaurant had opened in Indy, and they did not disappoint! They have all of the typical ingredients you find at a Mongolian spot, plus some unique options such as salmon, sausage, and octopus. They also have tons of sauce options as well. I like how you leave your food with the chefs, and they bring it to you when it’s done. No having to stand around while your food is cooked. One interesting thing is that you have the option of having all-you-can-eat or you can simply pay for your bowl. Most Mongolian places always charge you for all-you-can-eat. Get here early or you may have to wait, as it does seem to get busy. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Overall this is a must try spot for anyone who enjoys Mongolian BBQ!

First time to Yummy Bowl. It was crowded as this location hasn’t been open long. We really enjoyed picking out our food and our server was amazing! The selection of vegetables and proteins was surprising. We will be back!

First time dinners here! Unusual place, you build your own bowl from an assortment on the buffet bar. Then add your spices and sauces on the side. After that you leave your bowl with a card that has your name and table. After the hibachi chef has completed frying your meal, a server will bring it to your table. We grabbed two appetizers from the menu also. We ordered the -Harumaki (4 pcs)

First time here, so we felt lost. Our waitress tried to explain how to build our bowls, but it was confusing partly due to language barrier We managed to figure it out though, but we definitely under filled our bowls and I somehow ended up with fried rice under lo mein noodles…

Great service, plus the food options are great. You can customize your bowl and they will cook it and bring it to you… they have options like lamb, squid just to name a few.

The food here better be good because you are the one picking it out!

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was pretty good! It’s buffet style so you can pick what you want in your bowl (as much as you can fit into it) season it with what you want and pick out the sauce you want cooked with it and they do the rest. Plenty of veggies and meats. Was pleasantly surprised about how good everything tasted. You can’t go wrong picking your own food! Would recommend to anyone who likes hibachi style food and paying a third of the price you would normally pay at an hibachi establishment.

Rating based on the Yummy Bowl experience only. Everything was great! Reminds me of Mongolian BBQ minus the tortilla shells. Food came back to the table hot and fresh. I was also amazed by the number of protein options. Highly recommend visiting, especially if you were a fan of Mongolian BBQ chain.

This was our first time at this location. The staff was friendly but there were a few incidents where the manager (?) Was ringing a bell to get their attention at the food counter and they were all ignoring it. I like that they have lamb as an option. They also have their sauces labeled as “gluten free” if it applies. That is extremely helpful. They do not however have a rice noodle option. Only udon and ramen noodles, otherwise you get rice with your meal. Smaller item options than a Hu Hot but overall good.
