I ordered the falafel wrap…what I got was huge hep of falafel with chunks of whole chickpeas inside I was totally grossed out. the falafel was fried so hard ….I guess I’m just spoiled living in Detroit with the Arabs who are the masters of the Falafel.. idk I really wanted to like this place …. I couldn’t even fish the wrap that’s how bad it was. Sadly to say I told the owner I refuse to pay for this . Do yourself a favor and go 8 blocks the other way to the YEMNI restaurant… I am not disrespecting anybody . I have had such delicious Afghan food all over the east coast especially in DC… IDK what is happening in here . The menu was dry and dead to….. it took us like 30 min to order ..highly disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the laubili pallow plate which includes rice and lamb shank. The food was excellent and exactly the same taste I have experienced in Afghanistan. I can’t comment on any other dishes available at this restaurant but I highly recommend the lamb and rice dish; try it you will love it.

It’s pretty delicious must admit first time having falafels and they’re DELICIOUS crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. I’ll most deff go again. The chicken cabobs are pretty tasty too and the rice is a A+, not to mention great customer service.

1st time eating Afghani food, and it was amazing. I ordered a gyro, and falafel with hummus on the side. Oh boy, everything was so tasty and healthy. I couldn’t get enough of the mango lassi’s. I think I had 3 of them in one outing haha.

Lamb that is juicy, flavorful, and tender! This gyro plate took me back to some of the best places in NYC. Oh and the green sauce- made in house, fresh ingredients and spicy! I will definitely be back to try the falafel, fish plate, and curry!

The food is good but DO NOT and I mean under NOOOO circumstances don’t order online. The website is super glitchy and will add and cancel random items to and from your order. The website kept adding random items and I kept canceling them, I should have just called in when I was having so many issues. I ended up spending more than intended on food I didn’t want and the folks who worked there, understandably, didn’t really care that that glitch had taken place.
