Oh how I have missed Genghis Grill in Montgomery. This is a very similar dining experience. Make your own custom stir fry from the bar and have them make it fresh. I have been to this location twice but they have one on Ann St now also. The spring rolls are great and so far even I can’t mess up a bowl.

First visit…The dining area is so nice and well kept..so is the create your bowl line..replenished after the line is gone..plenty of choices…wait time was reasonable…the fried chicken was Delicious..spring rolls were okay but the dipping sauce was to sweet and did not balance well with the rolls..I had the Lo Mein with beef..veggies and shrimp..my friend ordered then brown rice with chicken and veggies..better than the takeout Chinese places buuut I had the worst headache when I got home..OMG..slept on it and it got worse..had to drink hella water and flush that salt…overall I recommend..make sure you have blood pressure pills ready…

Clean, open moderately lit restaurant ( think dinner mood/feel) . Menu items most at or just above $10 -$11 range. If ordering not building, the rice or noodles in our dishes was plentiful, the veggies cut in large pieces, and disappointing the seafood ( scallops and shrimp) were only salad size. Food is always hot off grill, cooked to order. Logo is large and in charge, dining space huge and open, food okay. I may try building my own bowl next time as I believe that is the main appeal. Many customers were placing orders to go.

July & Aug 2022: Food was very tasty. The bowl to add your meat and veggies was on the smaller side, but overall I liked it. Around $11 for lunch and $14 for dinner make your own bowl. Pro tip: add your meats to the bottom first then veggies and more meat like chicken or beef to hold the veggies in the bowl without falling off. I get my money’s worth and I’m not ashamed about it.

Family tried this out today and we loved it! You can tell they are still working their processes out, they have a lot of signage/directions with some that are hand written. But if you pay attention and don’t add too many salt type spices, you will get a fantastic meal! My favorite part is you get to decide not just what goes into your meal, but exactly how much. So if you want 2 jalapeños, a little onion, and a lot of chicken, then you got it. You want no veggies but 5 different meats, done! They have a great selection of meats and veggies, and from what I could tell as long as it fits in the bowl you can pile on however many of each. We will be back!

Went to Yummy Yaki in Eastchase for the first time for lunch. I am pleasantly surprised by my experience. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. You place your order at the counter( I opted for a bowl and pink lemonade) then proceed with your ticket to the assembly line and select your proteins, veggies, seasonings and sauces to build your bowl. Everything is fresh, piping hot and well seasoned. I will definitely be back!

This place is SO good. I went once and ended up coming back the day after. I’m so glad my boyfriend found this place. The food is cooked(and done I should add) in a timely manner and you get a lot as long as you stack your meats and veggies accordingly. It’s kind of like a game to see how much you can get. You get to pick your own sauces and seasonings as well and if you decide you can even watch them cook it from wherever you’re sitting. Paid $32.01 for two people and it was well worth it.

If you follow me, you’ll note that I am no stranger to mongolian. This place is a hidden gem and phenomenal. Very busy, but efficient. The balls look small, but they’re very generous with the starch. Seasoning variety is decent. Not the biggest that I’ve seen before, but certainly enough to make an excellent and yummy bowl.

Amazing food! I would highly recommend checking this place out. It has a 100% health department score posted right behind the register. It’s very clean! The staff use disinfectant to clean each table. It was pretty busy, which is always a good sign! The photo is of veggie ramen soup. Delicious. Besides ramen (or udon) noodle soup, they have stirfry. You can choose from dishes on the menu, or you can go to the cooks and tell them what you want! Great place. We will definitely be coming back.
