I don’t typically post food reviews but wow! What an awesome spot. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the mixed plate spicy with samosa’s and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The flavors complimented the dish exceptionally. If your looking for a delicious lunch or dinner near Ft. Dix I highly recommend Yumy Platter you wont leave disappointed or broke.

I don’t leave reviews, but I just finished my food, (got the mixed platter). This was amazingly good. I mean, if I had to pick one place to eat for the rest of my life, this is it. I cannot stress how good this joint is. The price was fair, but honestly I would pay more. The whole family loved it. In the immortal words or Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back”.

I’ve had Yumy platter roughly once a month, and they’ve been great, but the last two experiences were subpar at best. Value for money is nonexistent. The ATM was not working, so I used their card option and paid a $1.20 technology fee! (PRETTY GREEDY) It’s their business, but as a business owner you shouldn’t charge for convenience and label it a “technology fee.” At least put a sign up, noncash payment costs an additional $1.20 fee but no they just throw it on there. I purchased a chickpeas platter for $9, and there were maybe three tablespoons of chickpeas. The container was loaded with rice, some prepackaged lettuce, and two pieces of bread, which they usually give three. The ultimate deal breaker was that they loaded the spicy chickpeas platter with BUFFALO SAUCE! They’ve never done that! If you order within 2 hours of closing, they WILL give whatever food is left over and use excuses like “We have a new chef, we care about our customers.” they only care about the profit. They lost my business.

Don’t sleep on Yumy Platter! The food here is AMAZING, and the service is first class. I’d give it even more stars if I could. I highly recommend the samosas and the spicy falafel. Can’t wait to go back!

Whether you work on post or you live nearby, Yumy Platter is THE spot. With the options relatively scarce, lunch options can often get boring and tiring, quick. Often times, you will find yourself on a mundane cycle of Popeyes, Charley’s Subs, Yordannas, Burger King/McDonalds, The Sandwich Shop, and maybe Local Smoke BBQ (depending on the day). However, Yumy Platter is one of those places that refreshes that rotation – it will hit the spot regardless of the day.

I have ordered from here twice now. The food is extremely good. both things I have ordered had a little spice to them which I love and extreme amount of flavor. Would one hundred percent recommend to anyone looking to try good food. portions are also amazing.
