Fantastic sushi spot, didn’t get to try the ramen but the sushi and sashimi was fantastic. We asked for the tuna sashimi thinly sliced and instead of 5 huge pieces we got 10, served alongside wasabi, we ordered some extra… I would’ve probably waited because the side they gave us was plenty to share between me and my partner. Delicious, quick service and everything coming out looked good.

Great food and service. My favorite is the Monkey Brain and there isn’t anything I haven’t liked. I would suggest calling ahead only because it is kind of small and the food is so good it tends to get full. The longest we’ve waited for a table has been 20 minutes, well worth it. I gave four stars for atmosphere because I didn’t want to give it a perfect five stars, this place is already crowded enough.

I’m so happy I found this restaurant. The food is beyond delicious. I’ve always wanted to try authentic ramen (not cup-o-noodles) and this place did not disappoint. The presentation of the food is inviting and thoughtful. And the service, is the best I’ve seen in a while. Talk about above and beyond. Our server took the time to show my son how to use chopsticks and when he saw him struggling (it was a bit funny) he gave him trainers. Truly recommend this restaurant. Their menu has a good variety of dishes & they do a very good job.

We tried the tempura udon, tonkotsu, and the sesame chicken. Both broths were on the lighter side but still had decent flavor. The egg in the tonkotsu is just a plain hard-boiled egg and not marinated so that’s a little sad. The sesame chicken was good. The service is straightforward and bland and the room that you’re eating in is kind of windy and small. I probably come back here again just because I love Japanese food but not for the ramen.

Came here for sushi and ramen. Service was good, and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Google maps provided bad directions which lead us to the BACK of the building. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to anyone else. Sushi was very good. Appetizers (sesame chicken and edamame) were good as well. Will definitely come back if we’re in the area. Service was great.

Awesome place all around. It’s the best Tonkotsu Ramen I’ve had and it’s pretty reasonably priced. I had a California roll and it was great as well. The workers are super friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. During dinner hours it does get busy and you might have to wait but it’s worth it!

Always great sushi and service. We have tried so many sushi restaurants and Yutaka is the best, not just in Phoenix but any state or country. Love that the menu isn’t too overwhelming with options. Staff has always been great and pricing for the quality and quantity of the food.. is absolutely amazing! I do wish it was a bit more intimate/cozier atmosphere but still worth the stop for sure.

The staff was friendly, fast & hard working. The food was great. The portions are HUGE! The roles are physically larger in diameter that any other sushi restaurant we have ever been to! The artichoke plate was one of the 2 best I have ever had. Like other reviews state there can be a wait, so plan ahead as they do not take reservations. It’s worth the wait IMHO.

This place was great. Went for sushi and was not disappointed. The rolls are big, the taste is exceptional, and the presentation is very clean. There is dine in but it’s small, maybe 30-50 people but worth it. Would recommend for sushi.
