We are here to celebrate Fathers Day! For our family, this is the best sushi restaurant in Pleasanton! The menu includes many different items, so there are many options, even for those who don’t eat raw fish. My kids love the ramen and for me and my husband, we are here for the sushi. Food quality is excellent and portions are reasonable. Sushi fish is fresh and tasty. Our family also love the tapas…tonite we ordered the ankimo, chicken karaage, geso karaage. We also tried their uni icecream. It’s expensive but if you never have it before, I would say at least try it for once. It’s a very creamy icecream with a bit of salty uni aftertaste. Quite interesting! We highly recommend this restaurant!

I had an amazing experience at Yuyake Dan Dan! The Hokkaido uni was super yummy and fresh, the omakase was delicious and reasonably priced, the uni ice cream was very unique and creamy, and the yakitori was good too. The pork belly was bomb! It melted in my mouth and had a nice smoky flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese food.

We arrived around 1230pm and wasn’t too busy. They were able to seat us right away. We chose to sit outside since it was a nice sunny day. They had umbrellas and nice outdoor seating. They provide the QR code for the menus on all tables, waitress came within the right time to take our order.

The bone marrow on the ramen was the star of the show. It was seared and has a smoky richness to it, goes amazingly well with the noodles. Best bone marrow I’ve ever had!

Bone Marrow Delight! First time here and the food was delicious! This place does not have all your typical sushi rolls but has very unique dishes that you won’t find at any Japanese restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive….so were the cooks & chef. Def will be back!

The food quality is just average, but the chicken karaage, in particular, falls short as it uses chicken nuggets instead of regular chicken meat. The grilled skewers, on the other hand, are relatively delicious, but overall, they can’t be considered exceptional.

This was definitely a let down given the price. The portions were small and the food quality was lackluster. We ordered some sashimi, skewers, oysters, and sake. The sashimi was the highlight, the fish was very fresh and delicious. The oysters tasted nice but were very small. The bbq skewers weren’t good at all. The eggplant was burnt and tasted mostly like char. I usually love beef tongue but the beef tongue here was really chewy and gross. The pineapple was way overly salted and inedible. The rest of the skewers just didn’t taste that good. Most other people were having the bone marrow ramen which may be their specialty. Unfortunately the two of us had already spent over $100 and didn’t want to buy anything else from this place given everything we already ate.

Great lunch specials. My friend brought me here for lunch and I got the sashimi bento box (chirashi don). It came with a bunch of stuff I didn’t recognize plus tuna and yellowtail. The salmon was hidden underneath! I was nervous at first since I am not a sushi expert but everything was good and I found a new favorite, blackhead seabream….I had to ask the waitress what it was). Anyways the bowl had a ton of sushi and for $28 was a good value! It came with soup and salad.
