Came here for breakfast which I highly recommend. Most places that serve menudo in town you can tell don’t wash the meat thoroughly. Yvonne’s menudo is GREAT compared to most in the area. It’s not lukewarm, you don’t have to add a lot of lime (unless you like to, ha ha) and it’s a great price. Also had the Huevos Rancheros which are very good as well. The French Toast is wonderful, made with thick toast and topped with a crumbly cinnamon and sugar mixture. Have been here for lunch as well and I would recommend that as well. The roasted pepper house salsa is delicious as well. The food here is wonderful and the price is also better than most in the area. I can’t say enough good things about it. Yvonne’s, please keep it up! You’re awesome! (Not a sponsor!)

I’ve shared this before the salsa is an indicator of the overall flavor of a restaurant. I ordered the Chorizo egg breakfast. The salsa, chips, perfect amount of Chorizo and the hash browns were to perfection. My corn tortillas got hard right away. It was fresh food. The hash browns were crispy not soggy which is how I like them. The restaurant atmosphere is modern. I recommend this restaurant. I will return and hope the meals stay consistent.

I’ve been here several times and the first couple of experiences I had were great. However, my three most recent visits have not been so good. Food received was undercooked and cold. Ordered enchiladas and got uncooked cheese shreds. These were all dine-in experiences and the restaurant was not very busy. The French fries are always soggy, limp, greasy and not fully cooked inside. I believe the issue is the frying oil is too high in temperature so the fries look cooked on the outside but are undercooked on the inside.

Me and my family were very regular customers of Yvonnes, we were there almost on a weekly basis for over a year. Even took other people there and recommended to several people. Food was always good. Very disappointed on my last visit however, about a month ago. When we got the chips before the food, they chips were “soggy” the kind that are chewy. The owner was out making her rounds and she stopped by the table to see how we were and I asked if the chips could be changed as they were chewy. She got insulted and TOLD me that they make their chips fresh everyday. Like how dare I question. She asked if I wanted them changed and I just said never mind. Haven’t been back since.
