I am blown away by Z Bistro. The crab cakes were to die for, the edamame the best I’ve ever had and the Porchetta with the wine that was recommended for it was unbelievable. They even made butter noodles for my 8 year old son who said he didn’t know butter noodles could taste that good. Absolutely perfect.

All I can say is WOW! We came with a big party and the new chef and owner Brandon and his front of house Alec were both amazing. The amazing food came out without a hitch and the whole time Alex provided top notch service upfront. Could not say anything bad about the experience. If you are looking for fine dining in Carson City this is your place. I was blown away by Chef Brandon and his team. From his tender and fresh crab cakes, creamy and robust tomato bisque to his masterfully crafted entrees, every bite was supreme. I can tell that he prepares his food with love. It was truly a treat to dine at Z Bistro and I am looking forward to going back.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Carson City for a fine dining experience. The French-inspired cuisine from their French chef is superb and the service staff is always excellent and attentive. Fair warning: you’ll need a reservation and prepare for things to get a bit pricey, but it is so incredibly worth it. Absolutely wonderful establishment and a diamond in the rough for Carson City’s food scene.
