First Impressions are lasting impressions. I was not happy with the service and quality of my food. I decided to try them out based upon the reviews. I love Indian food so I thought it was a great idea. I saw Chicken Biryani advertised as a lunch special for 6 dollars. When I went inside to order my food. The lady behind the counter took a while to acknowledge me, when I mentioned I wanted the chicken biryani, she yelled in the back in her native language, and informed me that they do not have anymore. As I was approaching to leave, I her a voice from the back in his native tongue, and she stopped me to come back saying we have chicken. So I was nice about it and proceeded with my order. My bill came to 11 dollars and some change. I informed her of the lunch special and she smiled and nodded as if she didn’t all of a sudden understand english. So I ignored the total and paid, at this time I was just so hungry and wanted to see what the buzz was about. Long story short. My chicken was old, dark looking, and smelled like it had no spices what so ever. I was totally not happy. I’ve decided to try something new and to my surprise I felt like I was robbed without a gun. I would not recommend any patron to visit. Maybe the ones in VA may be better but the one in Clinton, Maryland is a disgrace to the area. I hope some changes will come soon.

Lamb curry and chicken curry are outstanding. Loved the spinach. The chick peas were somewhat oily. This is better than the food truck and the food court at LEnfant, where I work.
