Ok. If you want authentic Laotian and Thai food, this is the place. Go ahead, ask for Thai spicy level. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you. It’s both tempature hot and spicy when it comes out. All the dishes we tried have been great. The fried cream cheese rolls are great. I am very partial to the Thai curry; spicy, of course. The Lao jerky is good as well. They even have sticky rice, which can be difficult to find in some restaurants. It’s a small establishment without much seating, but it’s clean with nice decor and friendly service. We can’t resist stopping by here when we are in this part of town.

Seriously, so yummy! We devoured our lunch. The Laos Fried rice was really delicious. Sprinkled with dried Thai chilis for perfect spiciness. The pad kee mao was probably one of the best I have had outside of Thailand. Cream cheese crab rolls had a perfect scallion blend with the crab and cream cheese. Hidden a bit but so worth the parking and walk.

Got the zaap combo with Laos sausage, lvl 4 heat on the Laos style papaya salad and pad kee mow lvl 3 heat. Noodles and Laos sausage are fantastic. The sticky rice could have been a little larger portion but I won’t hold that against them. The papaya salad was ordered a 4 but for some reason it felt like a 7. All in all we will be eating here again.

OK Thai food, mediocre tea. I had the pad Thai, and the 3/5 spice was not spicy at all. Courteous service.

My daughter and I came here to try some Thai and Laos food. Zaap wings, pad Thai and drunken noodles. It was really good. Not overly heavy on sauce and flavors were excellent! My daughter and I have ordered spice level 3 and for us it was too weak. I have read one review said 4 was too much for them but I guess it depends how spicy you like. 3 was very mild for me, but again I love really spicy food. They gave me diced fresh hot peppers on a side and that was perfect so if you are not sure just ask for some fresh or crushed peppers on a side. Also very nice little shopping area all around and there is a view of a park across a little creek running near by. There is no sitting with a view of the water but it’s just right there and the spot is just right. Food is inexpensive for the quality they deliver. At that spot they could definitely charge more.

Update: I tried level 4 at a Dallas location and it was very spicy, I’ll stick with level 3!

I have been looking for some good fried, spicy rice and I finally found it. Definitely going to get the spiciest option next time but the rice was seasoned right and fresh. The wings were sweet and savory being crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I’ll definitely be back

Flavors flavors flavors, do yourself a favor and get the combo meal with Laos sausage. Texture is great and it is loaded with flavor to make you drool. It usually comes with jasmine or sticky rice, and Thai (peanut, carrot and sweeter notes) or Laos (fermented in crab juice, saltier notes) papaya salad. Don’t play with that 1-5 spice here. If you can’t handle much, don’t get beyond level 2. I warned you… there are some “secret” sauces on the menu. One is a fish sauce based sauce and the other is some kind of paste. These take the already delicious meals to new heights, like wow! Getchu a Thai tea or coconut water to cool things down a bit. Staff is usually friendly and will help you if you have questions on things you’ve never heard of.
