Was the only place open for breakfast an let me tell you, for $23.67 each we should have gone to McDonald’s. Apparently Monday’s are buffet for breakfast. The sausage wasn’t cooked. The powdered eggs were dry and bland. The gravy for biscuits and gravy had onion in it? An was runny. You could tell the danishes were from Costco. The wait staff was friendly but obviously English wasn’t their first language for any of them. An I’m pretty sure the one guy didn’t know anything other than “water?” We also had to wait almost 15 minutes after we were done eating to get out checks. Won’t go back.

It was a quiet Tuesday night with some local folks and some tourists. The bar tendor/servers were very pleasant. I had a medium cooked sirloin burger with fries. All were good at a cost of $18.

Tired of seeing the same people over and over? Want to feel like you are travelling but without the expense? Go to Zach’s and you will feel transported to another place. Comfy booths, strong coffee. Quiet and calm atmosphere. If you are a work from home person who is looking for a quiet place with food and internet and you won’t be bothered, this might be your new go to spot. I didn’t see any outlets but I would bet there are at least two tables here where you could also plug in. I like the fresh take on the corned beef hash. Friendly service. If you can’t find me, I’m probably here, on my laptop drinking strong coffee and eating yummy food.

We didn’t enjoy our time at Zach’s at all. It was a nice restaurant with good food, but the waitress was very rude, she stepped on my sister’s jacket hanging on the chair by accident, with no apology she said it was my sister’s fault blocking her way. She was rude when we asked plates for sharing. The waitress was extremely impatient when we were making our orders. We need to wait for a long time for each service, including asking for the bill. Horrible service, she deserves no tip!

Service was outstanding. Drinks are a little pricy, and the food was great. I’d rate the taste an 8/10. I’ve had better forsure. The environment was super nice, kinda classy. I’d like to come back and drink and smoke in the corner. The lighting is perfect. All the deserts were tasty and hot. Not too busy either and fast service.

Food was a let down compared to what I had expected from my last visit. However I havnt been since pre covid. Pasta dish was very bland and uniform texture, tons of sauce and very little pasta. Pasta tasted like it had been prep cooked in a large batch and reheated, the Ruben tasted like mayonays and was just dripping with sauce, meat tasted like it was slow cooked in water leaving a lot to be desired. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant wasn’t quite open when we arrived so we ate at the bar/lounge area right across the hall. Our food came out fast and it was all very good. I can’t remember the name of the salmon dish but we had no left overs.
