First experience was spit on, the onion rings were cooked perfect, grilled bun on the Texas hot dog cooked spot on, fries as well. This last trip my onions rings were soggy, fish fry was dried out, the lemonade wasn’t as good as before sugar wasn’t mixed in. The service and food expidited were timely and good. Difference was the food was really good at lunch as for the dinner hour not so good. Service awesome though.

My family was there on a Tuesday around lunch time. The Texas hots…spot on!!! Just like they ALWAYS have been. Delicious !!!.. the fish fry was wonderful as well. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I love it , the service was great, he had a foot long hotdog with the works, and I had the chicken sandwich with bacon, cheese, and the meat sauce,we got fries to share.

We have been going there for 30 year. We’re so happy it was opening again. What a disappointment. The pictures they are showing are from a long time ago(Years) Never got to try anything we waited 10 minutes before we got to order then waited another 30 minutes before the guy next to use waited an hour showed us what the hot dogs looked like and cost. Didn’t look good and cost $425. They should go back to A&W. They are NOT Texas Hot Dog.

Table with three waitresses at it seemed irritated that a lone car had pulled in – they looked over at us and seemed to be discussing who would take our order. We thought about just leaving because we felt kind of unwelcome, like we were intruding by wanting to try the place at 2 in the afternoon. Not a great first impression.

No organization as to how they take orders, they are clueless as to which car pulled in first. I waited almost an hour for four hot dogs and an order of tater tots. 45 minutes into waiting serval cars who arrived way after I did got their food before me. When I asked where is my order the carhop/waitress said let me check on that. I then had to walk to the building and ask again. The carhop/waitress said they are working on it. It must have been some mix in the computer system (computers don’t randomly shuffle orders). This place will go down faster than it opened if they don’t clean up their act. As for the food maybe it deserved a different rating however, waiting that long for food when your hungry anything will taste ok.

Not one positive thing from this place. From the food, to the service to the rude and nasty response when I told them I got the wrong food. Same name, nothing like the old place. I think all they care about is the money that goes into their pockets. They don’t have any customer service skills. Have the “you don’t like it, don’t come back” attitude. Other than their friends and family, I believe the repeat business will dwindle. It’s a shame how they have destroyed an area icon. And trust me, they have started things horribly. I hope they step up if they want to be open in the years to come.

Pulled in parking space, 25 minutes later waitress took order ,30 minutes later some of the food came. Hot dogs was like warm, french fries were cold,. 15 minutes later we got some hot fries.
