First time visiting this restaurant and from the moment we sat down until the minute we left it was a great experience. The owner introduced himself and told us that everything was made to order. It’s a family business which is also a plus . The food was delicious from the fresh hummus appetizer to the amazing homemade rice pudding dessert. Highly recommend. We will definitely go back.

Food and atmosphere was excellent and the owner, Rocco, was very personable. The service was great until our server took away my husband’s dessert before he was done with it…without asking. She offered to bring another , but he said no. There were four of us, all talking, so we didn’t notice it was gone until he was going to eat it. Maybe she was new, but never remove a plate with food on it unless you ask first. It was still a wonderful experience and we would definitely go back.

Food is very good. Didn’t like that asking for more bread (for a table of 2) would result in an upcharge since there wasn’t a lot provided either time and it was never mentioned. Never had any upcharges before in any upscale restaurant and Ive been to this one a few times before. Waitress this time around was so-so, and definitely not like my other visits there. Love the owner and other staff though. Also, outside seating needs a bug deterrent (candle, fan, something) to avoid constant swatting.

What beautiful evening to experience this gem in Haddonfield. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the best grilled octopus I have had. The owner greeted us like we are regulars, and the staff was attentive. We drove from outside Philadelphia to enjoy this wonderful experience and we were not disappointed.

Zaffron provides a restful location for quiet dining. One of the few places that allows you to relax. The gazpacho is amazingly fresh. The bowls are huge and we could not finish. A cup is enough for most to accompany the other tasty lunchtime delights. We had a good experience with the Zaffron Tasting Plate for a variety of hummus types, olives, cheese, and baba ganoush to eat with pita or vegetables.

Went there to eat just now…dining room completely empty. I asked if we could sit in a 4 top table instead of a table top. They flat out refused and said we can’t do that…with no one in the dining room. Turning away business…not smart. I don’t care how good it is reviewed to be that unwilling to work with a customer on a simple request will assure I will NEVER bring my business to them again.

Boyfriend and I stumbled upon Zaffron a few weeks ago, neither of us had ever been there, but we both really enjoy Mediterranean food. This place was incredible. We got kebabs for dinner and an appetizer that included hummus and tahini with fresh (warm!) pita. I got a steak kebab, he got a meat kebob (with ground lamb/beef… forget the word.) They were both great, tzatziki that accompanied was also great. We will be back!
