This is a favorite place! I always come back for the turkey meatballs and yellow curry! The portions are large so one bowl is always two meals for me. My recommendation is 1/2 noodles and 1/2 rice as your base. Highly recommended!

This place was amazing! The food was served hot and tasted amazing, the service was very kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was very clean and relaxing. Overall i’m very glad we ended up picking this spot! I had the rice bowl with brown rice, steak, veggies and guacamole and it was delish

Excellent fast casual Asian fusion. I always get the bowl.. half white rice, half rice noodles, chicken, green curry sauce, corn and carrots. Guacamame on the side! Portion sizes are good. I always leave full, but still feeling good. It’s not overly sweet or greasy like this type of food often is

Tried this place for the first time and so good n fresh. I don’t like curry. I sampled their curries and declined all of them on my food. I ended up going with the rice bowl (half rice and half lo mein noodles topped with fresh crisp veggies. Sooooo delicious. I ended up splashing tamari sauce on it instead of any curry. I also got the noodle soup bowl. The noodles and broth so yummy. If you are sick with a cold, get this soup. My gosh it is so soothing and comforting. The fresh toppings are awesome on top. Overall great place, hated the curry flavors and opted for tamari sauce instead and perfection.

Has a great feeling Decor and the food is great. While I don’t get it the Zao way, getting a teriyaki chicken bowl is fantastic, its not too heavy but filling enough and reasonably priced. They also have a fantastic juice selection!

This place is new in town, Jun 9, 2021. The food is crazy good. Absolutely nice people, so willing to help with a smile to top it off. I definitely will be a regular. The food is super fresh. Zao Asian Café.

I’ve had Zao 3 times now. First time = great, second time = warm freezer meal quality (bad), third (this location) = fantastic! Food was good, staff was super helpful and nice, and restaurant was clean. This location gave me hope that I really really like Zao and will be trying it again.

Fresh and flavorful. Friendly helpful staff. Five of us tried the bowls and salad. We ate the bowls clean. Highly recommend Zao! It’s in the née Smith’s parking lot on the south side by Buck’s Ace. Refreshing on a hot summer day.

Had the bowl with romaine and brown rice, and asked them to throw in a bit of rice noodles too. Tofu is my jam and I was quite happy with it. The green curry sauce was good (billed as spicy but maybe 3 stars spicy… maybe). Only drawback was the surly young folks helping me. Granted, I’d be grouchy too if I was working food service on a sunny Saturday. At least they were efficient and the chow line was clean. I’ll go back.
