It was great seeing an old friend running the restaurant and doing such a wonderful job. It was my first experience at Zapata, and we were very happy with the food and service. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas and had plenty to take home with me. My lunch partner had carnitas and was stuffed when we left. The complimentary salsa was good and was served with a generous helping of chips. The restaurant was busy and very clean. I hate we didn’t know it was there before now!

The cheese dip was not as full of flavor as expected. The guacamole & pico was good. It was VERY cold inside. I went to eat Mexican tacos, but was more like American tacos-ground beef, lettuce, & cheese. Friend said his beer tasted water down. He said his food didn’t taste right. The owner seems like a very sweet lady, though.

I came here at 4pm Monday and on the net it says they are open and close at 10pm. But in fact they are not open. It has no note why they are closed. Very bad for business. Someone else came while I was here and he said he has lived in this town 10 years and said it has never been closed like this.

The service was really good but the food wasn’t even hot. We ordered cheese dip and it got cold QUICK! The chip weren’t even warm either. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for some GREAT Mexican food! ME or my mom neither one, liked it…

I have nothing bad to say about them other than having the 1 worker to wait on all the tables. He was good and trying his best but he can only do so much. We had a large cheese dip without chips all the way till our food came. The food was ok. I have had much better but it filled us up. Overall I probably won’t be back
