I heard a lot of hype about Zaxby’s chicken and finally found one during my road trip southbound. I realize not all locations are the same, but this one was atypically slow for a fast-food joint. There were two customers in front of me who had already ordered. The employee told me they were out of toast, no further explanation. I asked if it could be substituted by something else and I was told no, it would just be omitted from my order. I didn’t even ask it it would be omitted from the total. I decided to get the sandwich meal which included no toast, and it took a good 15-20 minutes to get an underwhelming sandwich in a very handled, yes very handled (not a typo), wrapper. Then, on to the drink. The floor looked like the machine had a leak somewhere, but nobody took the time to wipe up the sticky syrup which was tracked throughout the dining area. At least they put up a wet floor sign in the corner. I may give another location a try, if and when the opportunity presents itself. Cannot say I was impressed by the product, the service, the cleanliness, or the presentation. Sorry guys…

The fried chicken Cobb salad is excellent and the employees are always friendly. My coworkers have come here for years for lunch. This winter, however, has been very unpleasant because the dining room has been ice cold – like literally the outside temperature. If this condition is addressed I will gladly change my rating to 5 stars. Thanks

Food tasted good, wings (traditional and boneless) were very small. The traditional looked like they were from a Cornish game hen they were so small. The boneless wings looked like they tried to get 40 nuggets out of one breast. The fries were good and the sweet tea was really good. The staff was what made the experience worth the trip though. Smiling, polite, and extremely attentive.

This location needs to be retained from beginning to end. I placed my order @ about 8:30, it was giving to the wrong person. Then when it was returned they thought I was going to take. Sorry fix it fresh again. Overall I ordered my food waited over 1.5 for my food along with other customers. The guys that was taking out the trash was not washing they hands and was trying to fix people food. Go at your own risk I know I will not be going back.

This service was the absolute worst. Waited 30 minutes for 3 cold chicken fingers, and an additional chicken dinner, but the fries were piping hot. None of the fountains were working, the tea canisters were empty and with the six people that were behind the counter… only one seemed to make an effort to move orders and people out of the store.

This place hasn’t changed since they first opened. I finally gave them another chance after refusing to step another foot onto this establishment but once again they are a complete disappointment. Food is cold, employees are lousy and rude, they’re always out of food and their drink machine never works. Not to even mention the tables are never cleaned, the drink machine leaks water and the entrance door has been cracked/broken for months now. Corporate desperately needs to intervene before it gets completely run into the ground. It’s pretty sad when I can go to the Chesapeake location and get a completely different experience. I have honestly never met a single person that was satisfied with this particular restaurant.

We have been a customer of this zaxbys since they opened. The last couple of times we went in the service was sorry and the attitudes of the workers suck. In the past they have always accommodated my our son that has a milk allergy. This time the worker smacked her lips and mouthed off at my wife saying we don’t do that. Well you just lost a customer because of your workers piss poor attitude

Only one person ahead of me and already at the order station when I pulled up. Another guy drove up behind me. We sat there and sat there. Finally the guy behind me backs out. I sat for some time, and finally gave up and backed out myself. If this poor service is because of having no help, I feel sorry for Zaxbys, but regardless of the reason, if this keeps up, they will definitely go out of business. It’s bad when customers come to spend their hard earned dollars, and are leaving empty handed.
