The food wasn’t great this time. There was maybe a drizzle of sauce on my kickin chicken sandwich. I never even tasted a kick of anything this time. The restaurant blocked off the bathrooms and hour before they were scheduled to close with 8-10 customers in the restaurant. I understand they want to clean and everything, but you wait until 15 minutes before you close. You don’t just close down the bathrooms and large sections of the restaurant an hour before you close. Just poor customer service in exchange for bolting out the door at exactly 10pm.

Ordering through the app is difficult compared to other restaurants. The chicken was pretty good. The fries need to cook a little longer and be better seasoned. The toast had a texture like it was made the prior day. OK but not inspired to hurry back.

We were on business traveling through the area and stopped here. We placed our order through the drive thru. Upon getting to out hotel, we discovered we were missing items. As a result, we called the restaurant, explained the situation, and asked for a refund for the middle items. We were too far to go back. The supervisor said she couldn’t refund it without the card. She was honest and said there’s a way to do it, but she didn’t know how. She told me to call customer service. We have now called customer service three different times, and each representative took all of the receipt information to process the refund. To date, we still have NOT received the refund. I guess Zaxbys scams people!

Beautiful wood paneling and tasteful decorations create a homey, comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy delicious, succulent chicken. We had boneless wings and tenderloins. The wings were flavored with buffalo garlic sauce and the sweet and spicy sauce. The wings were a nice size, allowing for 2-3 solid bites from each wing. The tenderloins had 4 bites per piece and were super soft and succulent. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and the food was prepared quickly. The bathroom was clean.

Ordered 20pc boneless wings and before I got to the window they were done….which I thought was strange because they usually make to order. I don’t know what kind of sauce got put on these chicken bites but it isn’t buffalo sauce. So I threw 19pcs in the trash…. inedible food. Seriously disappointed in the food quality….

March 5th, Salisbury NC. I was on my way home and was a little thirsty & a tad hungry. I stopped by the Jake Alexander Blvd. location for a Zak’s Snack Pak. Everyone was super nice. The three chicken tenders were big and hot, the Fries were fresh and delicious, and that big cup of half-sweet tea was needed to vanquish my thirst! This location is very easy to get into and out of no obstructions in your line of sight to get on Jake Alexander again. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked. The dining area was also very clean and organized. The drive-thru was moving nicely, but I decided to go in and stretch my legs a bit.

We chose to do the drive thru since the store was roped and sectioned off. We didn’t want to bother with the hassle of parking and not be able to go inside. When we pulled to the speaker the auto system said they were closed then about 16 seconds later a voice greets us how can we help you. We asked about what comes on the #5 Kickin Chicken Sandwich, we heard the order takers response back so we said can we just get a plain chicken sandwich add pickles with fries and a strawberry lemonade. At this point we were ordering something totally different from the #5! We pull up to the window and there is an employee standing outside of the window, which is a big safety concern for me because no one taking the order instructed us to proceed with caution as they have a worker at the window to assist in giving the orders and receiving the payments as there parking lot was under some construction so you couldn’t pull forward after leaving the window. We get our food and pull off, we check our food at the bottom of the parking lot and it’s the kickin Chicken 3 little baby fingerz with pickles on toast. By the way it’s not what we ordered. We then have to turn around go back around the drive through and tell them what happened. So the second time they got it right. Food was great service was ok but the safety of the employee standing outside was unsafe for us.
