Came in the dining room to order. Some punk walked up and said the dining room was closed. Doors were unlocked and its broad daylight. Covid hasn’t been a thing in forever. They had atleast 4 people working. We said no, we’ll order here or leave. He repeated that the dining room was closed. We said fine and turned to walk out and this little punk covertly shot us a bird. Of coarse my dad called him out and what I presume was the manager called him a liar. Then we over heard the manager asked the little punk in a gen z enabler tone if he was alright. Obviously this place is run by leftist layabouts that don’t want the slight inconvenience of serving their customers. Hope Zax goes in and fires the lot of them.

Service was very quick but too quick for Zaxby’s which had a reg flag raised in my mind. I pull over to the parking lot to quickly scarf down my food on my lunch break, only to have COLD wings that looked as if theyd be sitting out for hours tossed into COLD sauce. I used to be a manager of a Zaxby’s, and if anything, tossing wings into cold sauce was one of the biggest things they preached about NOT DOING! Also, the Texas toast could have cut glass. not only that, but I stand inside with my bag of food waiting to speak with someone, 2 employees looked at me and quickly looked away. So I am mad at this point, I go to my car and attempt the drive thru which then I am prompted to please come BACK inside and speak to the manager. I kindly left my bag where it belonged in the parking lot next to the dumpsters because that’s where it belonged and I no longer had the time left on my lunch break to go BACK IN the building to wait more than likely another 15 minutes on an obviously highly negligent and irresponsible management system for this location.

Closed at 3PM on a Sunday (5/23/2021) due to “staffing”. This isn’t a staffing problem, its a Zaxby’s problem. I have heard they pay significantly less than competing local fast food joints. So what’s a logical person seeking employment to do? Obviously they aren’t going to work for $9 an hour when they can get $11 anywhere else LOCALLY. Its simple logic folks. Thats all there is to it. You’re not going to attract folks when other joints pay significantly more. And people want to eat here, I saw a constant steam of vehicles show up. Be competitive or go under I guess. Your call. No other fast food joint in Franklin has been closed this many times.
