The food surpassed my expectations. I opted for the Haitian rice and beans, chili chicken, and plantains—all of which were delightful. The person who took my order over the phone was incredibly courteous. I’m definitely planning to return as a regular customer. The only suggestion I have is to consider opening another branch closer to Boston, as the current location is quite a distance from me. Despite the distance, I believe the occasional drive is justified by the experience. My main hope is that their food maintains its consistent quality and that their customer service remains unwavering. This initial visit left me eager for more, and I’m looking forward to many future visits.

The food was awesome. We had a jerk chicken wrap, prawn bake pasta, plantains and salmon cakes, which were absolutely delicious. The service was great but we paid for the drinks which we did not give us, hence a star off.

EVERYTHING was delicious!! The hush puppies were definitely our favorite but overall the food was very flavorful and everything had a very nice presentation. The owner is super nice and very professional and Jess was the best host !! If you’re in Boston you have to try zaz if you’re not I promise you it’s worth the trip !!

I must say my experience with Zaz was nothing but professional. I ordered a couple of platters for a bday celebration and they exceeded my expectation. Everyone raved not only about the taste of the food but the presentation. Thank you Camelia for adjusting my ordered when asked if I ordered too much and thank you chef for reaching out personally. Would highly recommend Zaz to anyone looking for a caterer at their next gathering.

I ordered the seafood mac and cheese to go. It was dry and only had 1 piece of lobster and the cheese was not cooked (shredded and not melted). This dish is too expensive for me to have to throw the entire thing into the trash.

This is one of Boston’s hidden gems. The food Lick my fingers good. Great atmosphere when dining in and the takeout is always good. I even meal prep and that week I eat good. I also tried their catering option and their stuff was so friendly when they deliver the food and everyone love the food.( picture inserted below). Salmon dish with lo Mein is by far my favorite meal. They have great vegetarian options. There’s something here for everyone. Did I mention their black owned. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars is they’re not consistent with the side sauce that they add with every meal sometimes they added it sometimes they don’t. The Sauce is bomb.

My family and I went for the Mother’s Day brunch and this place is by far one of the BEST restaurants from food to service/hospitality, I have frequented in some time!!!! EVERYTHING we ordered from appetizers to drinks was absolutely delicious!!!! On top all it all our server “Nicola”, was so wonderful and welcoming!!!! There was a Great DJ! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. We will definitely be coming back! If you like good food , you need to try ZAZ! It does not disappoint!!!!!!
