I love this place. It has a great atmosphere, I love the white Christmas type lights inside. It’s got great food, good portions, great service. They have lots of good beer on tap, good selection. I eat here every time I’m in town. I even get to-go banana bread that’s so soft and delicious. I wouldn’t get their smiley fries, they are like store bought and kind of flavorless, but everything else is good. They also offer free popcorn right when you walk in so you can snack while you wait for your meal if you like.

This restaurant seems to be your typical small town place. The food is ok, the service is ok, and the decor is quite outdated. Nothing bad to say about this place, but nothing to rave about either. We will most likely choose a different restaurant the next time we find ourselves in the area at meal time.

I haven’t been to Zekes in probably 8 years and I will not be going back. It’s out dated and run down. The food was microwaved I’m pretty sure. The potato skins were burnt. My raviolis were watery and the edges were freezer burnt. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because our waitress was super friendly.

Coming here expecting to have a great time because of the highly praised reviews. Upon arriving it was a downhill experience. We walked in waiting at the sign for us to be seated for about ten minutes with bartenders and other staff walk by us at the hostesses stand. We eventually sat ourselves to possibly speed up this slow train of disappointment. Once we sat down eventually someone came over to us and asked what our drink/food order was. Being hopeful on the change of our time here we were shot down like a clay pigeon in the sky as it took 20 minutes to get a few glasses of waters. We might as well of not said anything and left our cups on our table to catch the water pouring from the ceiling. *the re is a picture of the cup*. Once our food arrived it was half heartedly slapped together if someone was making it in a feeding trough. Parts of our order was missing along with inaccurate order of sides. Deciding as a group to not even have them fix it of having to wait another 30 minutes for them to maybe fix it. The bruschetta chicken sandwich *picture below* was almost inedible from lack of seasoning, bone dry chicken and the big kicker lack of influencing the bruschetta itself. Might as well skip this place when you’re thinking of eating in dowaigaic.

Food is amazing! I ordered the ribeye with grilled shrimp that has a parmesan sauce over the top. Omg!!! It was delicious!! Our waitress was outstanding and the atmosphere is in the halloween spirit, just love it! I also ordered a fried ice cream for dessert and that too was amazing!! Thank you Zekes for a great time

The service was alright. They were attentive and the order was accurate. As far as the food, let’s just say it could be improved; more seasoning and bring the food out the when it’s freshly made. The water smells funky (like it had old cleaning products residue). The place smells like an old moldy hotel. The bathrooms were clean though and surprisingly smelled better than the establishment itself.

Went on a Friday and enjoyed a great all you can eat fish fry. Service was excellent too considering that I was in a large group. Food came out at the same time, drinks served together. Salad bar was kept clean and stocked with all the fixings.

Met up with some friends at Zekes for lunch. Great service. My husband and I both had the chicken burrito. It was good except a little too much cheese for us. Otherwise, it was a great. They have a great menu of different food from sandwiches to wraps. I would definately go back and try something different.
