We just went here for a reunion of our friendship . We are all scattered throughout the country and we finally got together here. This place has always been a go to for years when we all lived here . It was great to come back. The scallion pancakes , wonton soup, and vegetable dumplings were delicious . Our server was kind enough to ensure there was no soy used in cooking our friends meal and even complimented one of our eyes . I add that because our server was the nicest person around. I wish I remembered her name , but it really lightened the atmosphere . Food and experience is amazing . Thank you !

Zen is a perfect spot when you are looking for options when you are craving Asian cuisine. The menu has many options. I’m a sushi lover and love their sushi menu. Great place for groups and also great for a date night. The restaurant is very accommodating to food allergies and the customer experience is always positively memorable.

Zen is always a favorite place to go for celebrations and date night. The food is amazing and the hibachi chefs are always enthusiastic and make each experience unique. The “yum yum” sauce is my absolutely FAVORITE around. I always try to compare other restaurants and they never live up to it. The food quality is superb and everything they use is so fresh! An absolute favorite and you can’t convince me otherwise.

Stopped here to meet a friend, the service was terrific, the establishment was clean & the acoustics were perfect for chatting. The beef on a stick was wonderful, tender & cooked perfectly. The General Tso’s chicken was crisp & tasty. The rice & broccoli were perfect also. The prices here are good maybe even better than local take out!! You won’t be sorry if you make a stop here.

I hosted a party for 15 people here. Made a reservation two months prior. Checked it a week prior, and three hours prior. But even after my entire group was present, and 15 minutes after the scheduled reservation, they told me we had to wait because a party have left a table they needed to seat us. In an all but empty restaurant, at 5pm. Finally seated, we were assigned one waitstaff, who also was serving at least four other tables. And she was having a very difficult time taking, and filling, drink orders. Waiting 10 minutes for drinks poured from a bottle was disappointing. The food was quite good, and has always been. As was the atmosphere. Very well designed and appointed. Perhaps a bad combination of circumstances this night, but also completely avoidable.

Food was ok. If you are going to charge for drink refills – please tell people when they request a refill 🙂 we were not told and our 2 fountain cokes (1 refill each) came out to $10 which is nuts. Also one of the sushi rolls we ordered was covered in toppings that were not listed on the menu description and it made it inedible for us. We didn’t eat it. Please ensure the description lists all of the components. Everything felt expensive for what we got. And the refill situation is just so frustrating. I understand for like a lemonade or something “special” but I’ve never heard of charging for a refill for a fountain coke. And if you do – you need to make that known when ordering!

My family and I have been religiously going to zen for birthday hibachi ever since they opened, but now we will find somewhere else to go. Service was very rushed, as they took one of my group members salad before she got the chance to eat it, and our hibachi chef showed zero emotion, did not even look up from cooking, and seriously acted like he did not want to be there! Our service was only about 40 minutes long (cooking and all) and I actually had to tell the sever that we were still trying to eat as they were pushing to go boxes and the bill in front of us as soon as the hibachi cook finished cleaning the grill. The food was very salty, and they had gotten our sushi rolls wrong as well. I would say if you have somewhere else in mind you would like to try, go there instead of taking the drive to Zen like we did.

The food my wife and I have enjoyed here over the years has been exceptional. A restaurant that I have patronized as a takeout costumer and a dine-in consumer equilly. Would highly recommend if you have a taste for sushi, hibachi, or anything in-between.
