Always delicious. I’ve always ordered the Chicken Bento with Bonzai sauce, and it is so good. I crave it sometimes, and always make sure to get it when I’m downtown. I recently broke the mold and ordered the Hawaiian Bento with teriyaki sauce – also very good. It reminds me of the plate lunches in Hawaii, and I could never find anything close to that until now. As far as one reviewer saying the food is pre-cooked??? You can smell the chicken on the grill from a block away! And you can see them outside grilling in the warmer months. It’s all fresh and so good!

I wish the bowls had more up-front variety choices given fairly high price. Rice, steamed veggies, meat ,and a sauce is what you’re getting if you order off the menu as is.

Tofu bento with brown rice, z-nut sauce, peanuts and green onion – delicious and a filling portion.

I love the people they make the place absolutely wonderful. The food is always fast and delicious. They will make your Bento experience one of a kind. Thank you Bento Box for staying open during this time. I don’t know what I would do with out my Bento fix!

Looking for a poke bowl / bento bowl downtown? Look no more. They have a good selection of meats and veggies along with sauces and carbs. Though I think you used to be able to customize your bowl, I didn’t notice that option in a recent visit.

I love zen bento! Great food, many meat options including tofu. My favorite is the salad, though I have tried several dishes. All yummy!

The food is great, and you get it fast (as long as there aren’t a lot of people in line). It’s cheap for a downtown food place, too. However, it’s something I could easily make on my own at home. It’s the fast food version of Asian food, so don’t expect anything life changing.

For a place called Bento, it was surprisingly lacking in the bento box experience. They didn’t even have miso soup. It wasn’t what I expected, but was still pleasantly tasty, although a bit underwhelming in flavor power. I have the salmon bento with yakisoba and teriyaki sauce. It was light and refreshing, and cooked well.

I am usually a fan of Chinese food or stir-fry. However, I truly enjoyed my meal here. I absolutely love the Sushi. I have always heard such bad things about the flavor of Sushi. Honestly I’m surprised as to how good it actually was. I never new it could be so good. I was practically raised to believe sushi was wretched. But Zen Bento made me a believer.

Zen Bento is a great place to pick up lunch. I eat here just about every week on my in office days. Zen Bento was cool before “bento” was cool.
