The decorations are pretty good, and some of seatings are good for group gatherings. The order and service are through digital and robots which are pretty cool. The skewers we ordered are tasty. The dalu noodle is dry noodle mixed with sauce and few wood ear and bean curd skin. The only thing we feel odd and out of place is the cups, which look so cheap and have strange paint over them. We dare not use them for drinking. Will recommend you bring your own cup or water!

There’s a sign that says no tip necessary which explains the negligence of the employees. It would’ve been nice if they took away some of our empty plates but it is like that in a lot of places in Asia, where they just clean everything after you’re done. The workers were all nice when we talked to them and asked them questions though.

This is a great restaurant with barbecue and shabu-shabu in Beijing, and there is no extra labor service charge. The airy, tasteless, clean and Beijing-like environment is impressive. Unmanned vegetable delivery machine delivers vegetables in time, which is convenient and reduces the contact between people. It’s great. If you like barbecue, it will make you pay a high price. You can consider barbecue with some staple foods, which will make you full and the price will be cheaper. If you choose Beijing roast duck and other specialties, you should make a reservation as early as possible. If you only consider ordering when you go to dinner, there will be no more. (I went to eat twice .and many dishes were sold out. This is my experience).

Owner does not read Google reviews: They still have the skimpy paper napkins in dispenser. Still charging unbelievable price for extra hoisin sauce. Now they deep fry the duck skin in other than duck fat, cut it up & serve it w/ the duck: it no longer has ANY duck flavor. Duck meat was good, but not the same without the tasty skin. Still only offering the thin crepe like pancakes with which to eat it, everyone having to handle the whole stack to peel them off.

It’s cool to have a robot deliver the meals but some dishes are a bit salty.

Tasty skewers. My favorites are the beef with fat, intestines (especially with rice on the side), and corn. But the lamb, taiwanese sausage, pork belly, wagyu beef, and chicken gizzard were good too. I also ordered the edamame and peanuts, and I wish they cooked the peanuts longer, but that’s just preference. It’s also nice they have a mini tray with a candle to keep your skewers warm. The robot server is cute and the food arrived quite fast. Not sure if that was because we went around opening time and it was pretty empty. Around 30 minutes later a lot of people started coming in but by then we already got all our food. One thing I wouldn’t order again is the dandan noodles, they were much soupier and less flavorful than I expected. Overall the prices are ok because most each order comes with 3 skewers. It’s also nice there’s no tip here because the server is a robot. It also might be a bit more difficult if you don’t speak Chinese but I think they also can speak English if you need. And if you can’t handle a little bit of spice maybe you can ask them to lower the spice (not sure if they do this). I thought it was a good level though.

Robot delivering food is an interesting gimmick, but it is actually not that efficient, nor accurate. We were missing dishes from our order. And after asking a waitress to check, she just delivered one of the missing dishes without saying a word, and quickly left. We had to ask again, and another dish came. One never came. We just gave up. Luckily, we got 2 out of 3 dishes without having to prove that we never got them. On one of the lamb meat on a stick, the meat was so thin that my son commented how they got the stick to go through it from beginning to end. Strangely, you can order online but can’t pay online. Still have to go to the cashier to pay.

The only one restaurant without tips that I have ever met for its service by robot instead of the waiters. The barbecue here is really good, especially Chicken Crispy Bone and Kebab, so tasty. The kids love the noodles here, while incense sticks are ok, but not spicy. Will try other foods here next time, recommended this place.

The BBQ skewers are delicious and are with great spice. The MaPo tofu and Slice Pork w.Pickle In Clay Pot are actually from the restaurant next door, Beijing Duck House.

Soooo I may have ordered too many skewers because I misunderstood the instructions. The numbers next to the skewer meant how many sticks you should receive with your order.
