Zhang Liang Spicy Hot Pot was a nice place to spend my lunch time with my friend. I liked to be able to choose the ingredients I wanted. The soup base was delicious. The service ladies were very friendly and nice. They also had a spacious bathroom. The mushroom soup base was light but fragrant. The tomato soup base was thicker and tasty. The hot and spicy base was my favorite when I felt like having something heavier. Otherwise, I would get the tomato soup base with mild spiciness level. I would recommend it to my friends.

I’ve been looking for a spot like this for a while. The food was great and the staff was friendly. I like the bright atmosphere and having all your customization options display, as well as a bar for customizing your own sauce. You can customize your own hotpot but it already has a great selection of curated hot pots. My friends chickened out and didn’t go for extra spicy but I will definitely try it next time. Can’t wait to go back!

Since you might be wondering, let me start by saying that for every bowl you can decide how spicy you want it and not spicy IS an option in case you’re not a fan. This joint is a hidden jewel in the city; the food, decor, operation, service, everything is extremely well put together and thought of. stop by if you’re in the area, this place is amazing. Thank me later.

It’s not the normal “hot pot” where you cook yourself. It’s the type that they cook and serve to you in a bowl., or “Ma La Tang”. Fast service. Clean. Free Wi-Fi. Takes credit cards. Good bubble tea as well. Not sure why such bad reviews. The mild was pretty spicy for me and next time I prob will go without any spice personally.

First time ever eating Hot Pot in Chinatown in New York. Absolutely fantastic in every way! The flavors are so unique and flavorful, and we got so much food! I can’t believe we ate it all! I loved the lobster balls and quail eggs the most. The winter melon tea was to die for, and the Korean coffee was also fantastic. All in all just a remarkable meal!

Great place for Dry or Wet Hotpot. The minimum required weight of your selection is 1 lb. You can select your own ingredients from the buffet or choose from the package selections. They make it for you after you gather your ingredients. The Milk tea and Taro Milk Tea was great as well. The cheapest and tastiest hotpot in Chinatown that I have seen so far.

Clean, fast service and delicious food. It’s all about the food, not the drinks although they did have bubble tea. I got a fat bowl with practically all of the meats offered here including chewy beef, meatball, fish cake and spam. $25.88..I had to change my order because there’s a $20 minimum on credit card payment. Now ya know!

If you’re looking for a healthy meal at a reasonable price this is a good option but beware as the prices can get high if making your own. Recommend you order the meals from the menu. A hot pot costs from around $14. We also made one up from the self serve bar and were charged $27 for one dish! They have a bathroom but it was it out of commission when we were there. Service can be slow.
