This is a solid 3 stars restaurant. The rating is based on the similar kind of restaurant. The food was very tasty and I feel they over did it. A lighter taste would make it perfect. The service was a typical economical Chinese restaurant service and there was no surprise to me. The restaurant was pretty clean and I felt comfortable dinning there. There is a parking lot at the rear of the building.

Really like their beef and crispy pork noodle. The crispy pork is really good, and the sour bean pickle is like the must have item in a rice noodle, I’m very happy that they have it in their noodle.

This is the best Guilin rice noodles in LA, but at the same time, this is also one of the worst experiences for me to order. I have tried it many times, whether it’s dine-in or takeout. When I go to dine in, they never seem to have prepared any materials every time whether weekday or weekends. When ordering take out, they will always say that 20 minutes can be done, but every time it is way more than 30 minutes or sometimes even more than an hour.

Good but Hunan Chili King is way better. They forgot our picked green beans in our noodle dishes and were reluctant to believe their mistake. The noodles here are good but #1 is probably the best. The soup noodles are unfortunately average at best

I had the number one combo as everyone seems to start with and it was delicious. I showed up the day before (Tuesday) but they were closed. I arrived for a late lunch, just before two. You enter from the rear parking lot and through the kitchen where an elderly couple are doing everything. I ordered with them and sat in the dining room up front. Noodles came up fast and were delicious. My Chinese was useless but didn’t matter. Noodles and two drinks were $15. Recommend

Guilin rice noodles here never disappoint. The taste is very authentic and if you like spicy, always ask for some red pepper add-on.

Rice noodle is a bit salty. But they do offer lighter soup to help dilute the salty taste if you like.

I came with high expectations, as gals on the social media highly recommend this restaurant. However, the service was so bad that I could not even enjoy the noodles, which was a bit salty but tasty though. I went to the cashier, after waiting 5 minutes for the waitress to take the order. She sent me back and told me she would come take the order, but we were left alone for another 5 minutes. She finally took the order after I went to her again. (The first red flag of the service). When she served the noodles, we found that it’s not the noodles we ordered, and she kinda tried to force us to take that one. We insisted on having the right one. I guess she was kinda mad about it, because she didn’t offer me the pepper when I asked to have some from the bowl she was holding. (The second red flag of the service). The most awkward moment came when we checked the bill. She said that she didn’t know how to have the bill and tips paid separately and wanted us to pay the total amount once. We felt like being forced to do things we didn’t feel comfortable with. We left, very disappointed.
