Amazing food, I got a soy milk tea with passion fruit, scallion pancake, and Malaysian curry stew. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Being vegan does not feel like a drawback at all. I highly recommend if you are in Arlington!

Local guide here. Ordered take out. Not a fan of vegan food, but decided to try. I ordered the Smoked Teriyaki Seitan and it was absolutely delicious. VERY good. Give this dish and this restaurant a try!

Popped into Zhu Vegan after a day outdoors at the Fells Reservation. Tucked away on Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, this quiet spot proved a comfortable and inviting hangout.

Nice vegan place! It is such a pleasure to have multiple options in a restaurant and to order without hesitation. Food was super tasty and fresh and the kimchi was ridiculously good.

I have to say I would love to rate this restaurant with +100,000,000,000 stars! They have so many vegan options which I am blessed to find this restaurant. Another I love is the restaurant playing C-pop music and I love listening to Mandarin and Cantonese songs. This pan-asian restaurant is a million times better than one in Austin!

Vegan places usually are good with flavor to make up for their lack of texture with no animal proteins; they hadn’t made up the difference in our visit. We ordered the Pad Thai and the Sweet & Sour Soy dishes. The pad thai dish had not peanut flavor to it whatsoever (or really any flavor) and it arrived almost soupy. The sweet and sour dish was also very bland, and the vegetables it came with were just microwaved from frozen packages, no additional seasoning at all. This tasted like some sad elementary school lunch. It was not worth the $18 base/dish we paid, unfortunately.

I got a take out order here with a variety of different menu options. I honestly can’t decide which one I liked the best. Everything was delicious and I couldn’t get enough. The soy sauce here is particularly good and it has an extra sweetness that really made the dumplings pop. The pad tai had a nice lemony flavor that seemed to get better with every bite. Overall you can let go wrong here.
