One of my favorite restaurants. Have been there twice and never fails to disappoint me. Will definitely go there again. Octopus dish is one of the best I have ever had. Chicken tender literally melt in your mouth – A must try too. They don’t take reservation. We went there Saturday around 6pm but ended up waiting 2 hr to get seat. But it’s a worth wait.

Amazing experience with the food, please call before showing up. The wait time is ridiculous and it’s an upwards to two hour Wait for a small table. I would say come with friends and family before 6 PM for a good spot inside the restaurant anything after 630 is most likely an hour long wait. The drinks are fantastic. Here we purchased two drinks one with gin and the other one was a Mocktail.

Zhug is one of our favorite places in the area to visit, just because they’ve got the coolest selection of dishes for sharing. The food could have been seasoned a little more and the brussel sprouts just a little more crispy.

Zhug isn’t just dinner – it’s an event! Went again last weekend with my friend and we spent a while here indulging in a drink and several small plates. Zhug does a great job pacing. We ordered all our food at once, but they brought it out as each was ready, giving us time to enjoy each one a bit before the next arrived. Zhug has plenty of vegetarian options and some vegan ones – a lot of their vegetarian options can be made vegan though. Very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Came here on a Monday night after work and it was pretty busy but we managed to snag one of the remaining last tables. It was our first time here and the waitress gave some recommendations and a rundown of the menu. The dishes are meant to be shared so for 2 people, she recommended 3 to 4 items. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is nice.

Food was good, I wouldn’t say great… Especially considering the portion size for the price. Ordered 3 plates that came to about $60 for 2 people. The fried chicken was cooked well and the honey paired it perfectly. The octopus was good, but for $18 there was probably about 2 inches of octopus cumulative on the plate itself. The server recommended the lamb apricot hummus, could not taste the apricot and there was approximately 1 tablespoon of ground lamb. For $16 I would expect it to be 3x better than the $5 container in grocery stores, and it was about the same to be honest. Server was great, vibes were good. Nothing to write home about.

Small shareable plates and fun setting. My mom and I enjoyed our food and my mom is a picky eater. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts, shrimp, and chicken the most.

High energy eatery with lots of interesting small plates. Make a reservation or get there early, it’s always busy! The menu isn’t super descriptive so your server may need to fill in the details, they are happy to. The cocktails are creative and delicious!

The best middle eastern dining experience in Cleveland. The small plate, tapas esque sharing style is perfect to sample all the incredible flavors Zhug has to offer. Diverse menu with options for anyone as well as an extensive cocktail and drink menu. Atmosphere is very modern with dark, candle lit tables, musical beats playing over head, and minimalistic decor.
