The rain put a damper on my work so stopped for a great cup of coffee and warm cinnamon bun. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in, washrooms were modern and clean and the atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly and heard them referring to customers on a first name basis. Great job at this location.

First time in Iowa. Me and my wife could smell the aroma of fresh cinnamon buns. After being lifted towards this coffee shop by the amazing smell, we ordered some coffee…..this place is better than Starbucks!! Best coffee we ever tasted! Coffee Toffee was amazing.

I get told that the drink that I want is a complicated one and that when I place the order on the app, it doesn’t pop up right away. The lady then continues on and says that I slow down the drive thru line when I decide to wait for my order in the drive thru instead of inside the cafe. Basically, they told me that I’m an inconvenience because my drink is a complicated one and that I slow the drive thru line down when I get my order through the drive thru. Unless they apologize and make up for it, it will be a long time before I ever visit this shop again. I order a Java chip blender with chocolate milk as the base because they ask you on the app what milk you want for your base. I then simply add peanut butter and extra chocolate sauce. So if they don’t make up for this im not coming back for at least a year

If you’ve been following me you’ve noticed that I make coffee stops around the Des Moines area. Today was my first visit to the Ziggi’s at 18th and Irvinedale in Ankeny, and I gotta say it was a 5 star visit. Usually a pretty busy place, but on this early afternoon I was 2nd in line at the drive-up. Couple minutes later I was greeted my an enthusiastic employee on the speaker who took my order of a plain decaf coffee with cream and sugar. Waited no more than a minute for the car in front of me to get their order, and I was at the window. VERY pleasant young lady, and we completed my purchase quickly.
