Historic cafe right on the river built over a hundred years ago out of grand firs. They serve big cups of coffee in sturdy mugs. Lots of variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch options. Scrambles , pancakes, waffles, omelettes, gravy smothered biscuits. Gargantuan portions, so prepare for leftovers unless you have Bigfoot’s appetite. We waited for quite a while for our food with no check in from the waiter, but they were obviously understaffed and Sunday brunch can be a bustling time for the only egg-focused dining establishment in ZigZag. Overall well worth the wait. The food was delish.

Excellent atmosphere and excellent service. Food was amazing. My son had the Denver Scrambler and I had the French Toast. Will be back when we make a return trip from Covington, Ga.

Great breakfast option. If you pass by you must come inside. It’s cozy and cabin like. Straight out of a movie. Many options for breakfast and delicious too. It’s wheelchair accessible too.

Best pancakes ever. We were told it was going to be about an hour wait because they were backed up in the kitchen, but they still seated us and were super attentive while we waited for our food. The wait was sooo worth it, the marionberry pancakes were amazing and good sized portions. Staff was incredibly hardworking, 10/10 would recommend.

Once i entered the place, my family and i were served almost instantly. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy, and they were THE BEST BREAKFAST I EVER HAD!!! Not to mention service was amazing and the staff was in high spirits. Would definitely come here again

Good food, but crazy expensive. A fountain soda is over $6.

This was my 1st stop after I checked into my timeshare in Welches. I relished the ambience and cozy atmosphere. I loved the coffee mug so much I bought one to take home. I had the lumberjack breakfast which I ate for a couple more days afterwards (and still never managed to finish!). My only complaint was there seemed to be a lot of flies inside the restaurant.
