First time was great, we’ll be back. Staff was super helpful teaching us how to order. Food was good, so good we forgot to get pictures until we were almost done. I had Kung Pao Tofu, Pot Stickers, and noodles. The husband had Pineapple Shrimp, Mongolian Beef, and half noodles/half fried rice. The tofu was seasoned really well, pot stickers were tasty and crunchy, the shrimp were fresh and tender, and the beef was too.

This place is beautiful. Sleek, modern, clean. Staff was very friendly and fully willing to make whatever we wanted completely fresh. They were also very helpful with the menu and offered samples to help us decide. The food was SO good. Panda move out of the way. Zing has better fresher ingredients for the same price. Definitely will be back to check out the patio and the boba.

So, a new place called Z!ng opened up on falls drive and I visited with a friend the other day. Unfortunately the one thing that kept banging around in my head while I was eating was the question “how are they going to differentiate themselves from Panda Express?” The store itself is a well-lit, casual atmosphere that presented a nice clean place to eat. I would say the food was just okay. I got a 2 entree a plate, a spring roll appetizer, and drink. I got the Bulgogi Beef and the Orange Flower which is fried cauliflower with the orange chicken sauce. So right away there are dishes that they serve that are different than Panda Express and they were good in their own right. I just don’t know that they are rising above what a place like Panda Express has to offer. My friend was not impressed with the spiciness level and didn’t think anything that he got was very spicy hot at all (he was expecting what he ordered to be spicy). The store also has a beverage side called Liquid Z!ng that serves boba smoothies and other drinks. My friend got a mango smoothie and did enjoy the drink. I definitely need to visit this place again and check out some of the other appetizers before I make my final determination but this is where I am after one visit.

Went through the drive through after picking up some groceries at Kroger’s at off-peak hours (3:30 PM). It was definitely hot and fresh when I got it because it survived both the 20 minute drive home and the ten minutes to put away groceries.

I tried the “Liquid Zing” which is located right next to the food variant of Zing. Let me say, the drink was fantastic! I first ordered a pina colada slushy with kiwi boba and it was incredible. The drink had an incredible amount of flavor and the popping boba really hit the spot. If you are looking for a great smoothie, frappe or tea this is the new place to go.

My original impression with this place was a good one. The food was hot and fresh and the service was quick and friendly. After eating my dinner, I placed a carryout order for my son. I ordered him the veggies and bulgogi. They ran out of bulgogi and was told I needed to wait five minutes, which was fine. Another staff member mentioned there was enough bulgogi in the back for “one more serving”. They packaged up the order and handed it to me in a bag. Upon my return home we discovered the bulgogi portion given to us was quite small. The fact I had to pay extra for this entree and received such a small portion was a huge disappointment. I will not be back.

I was hopeful that this place would be a alternative to Panda Express based on the reviews but it fell flat. The food was luke warm from the noodles to the orange chicken. The orange chicken and pork felt over cooked and soggy. 2 entrees cost 27 bucks. I’m going to have to pass on coming back unless the food improves significantly

The food was good, I think it just needs a little more perfecting since they just opened. The staff were very friendly and we had great service.

Such a massive disappointment. I had high hopes for a new Asian cuisine spot but this ain’t it. The service was some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. The woman in front of me was outright ignored and had to practically beg to get served. It took me almost 10 minutes to pay as my food sat behind the counter while the guy behind me got his food right away and paid quickly. By the time I got to try the food, it was cold and very bland, like the ingredients weren’t fresh. None of the employees seemed to care. I emailed management in hopes of getting answers (maybe it was just an off night when I went?) but never heard back. Certainly speaks volumes about the lack of quality and care.
