I wish we had asked for our servers name in hindsight to properly thank him for the fantastic experience. As a group of rather tall and out of place simple white folk, we were immediately greeted by the staff and asked about our knowledge on the Japanese themed clothing we were wearing at the time. After admitting we had only a vague idea of the character translations on our shirts, our server kindly educated us on the rough English translation while seating us and promptly took our drink orders. He gave every one of us execent service and even provided drink/food recommendations based upon our individual past experiences with Japanese food. I stated that I was hoping to try some more traditional menu items and he directed me to an Oolong Tea and a starter of yellowtail sashimi. He even took the time to show us how he holds chopsticks after a couple of us had difficulty using them for rice. 10/10 across the board for the entire meal and was by far the BEST restaurant service I’ve experienced in a long while. It genuinely felt like we were all friends rather than customers.

It’s a little tight, but the food is really good along with nice employees. Only really gripe in have is that so many of the rolls have mayo on them. Just a personal preference, but hate mayo.

Absolutely amazing food!! The staff is on it and made for a perfect low-key date night. We were quickly seated, asked for drinks and had them almost immediately. Food was just as quick and didn’t disappoint at all. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat.
