I can see why this is an Ann Arbor institution. It’s fun to look around inside, it has a great menu, friendly service, and some great choices for eating areas.

Stopped by Zingerman’s Deli while on our road trip across MI. This is a cool little deli shop with a lot of boutique pantry items and cured meat/cheese. It was definitely a cool experience. The sandwich, specially their famous Reuben was generously sized and excellent. No complaints about the sandwich. We also tried the Tarb’s Tenacious Tenure (turkey) sandwich and it was also very good.

First time at Zingerman’s, it is an overwhelming experience so many great and tasty looking items from the variety of bread, cheese, and meat fridge. Staff if very welcoming and attentive… We opted to trying the sandwiches and having and early dinner and ordered 3 of their sandwiches #26 Frank & Kathy’s Half-Italian Sub#84 Benno’s Birdie

I had never been there before. The first visit was great! Very helpful staff, ordering was very easy and it was great food! I had #22 Jenny’s Fix. My wife #73 Tarb’s Tenacious Tenure. Our son got the #97 Lisa C’s Boisterous Brisket. Each of us got the regular sized sandwiches. Our son finished his sandwich but we saved our leftovers. They are big sandwiches!

In Michigan, visiting friends. We wanted to eat at some local institutions. They said Zingermans Deli was a must do. I MUST go back with some serious $$$$. They were so many interesting items that I wanted to buy. It was alot to take in. We ordered lunch. I ordered the Reuben. It was so flavorful. The corned beef was tender and sauerkraut was fresh. The bread was amazing. There is a ton of seating both indoor and outdoors. If you’re in Ann Arbor, do yourself a favor and eat lunch at Zingermans. Just a warning, a sandwich with a drink will set you back $20+

We stopped by on the way to Niagara Falls. It was so cute and busy inside. The ordering was simple and efficient. The sandwiches were delicious. The labeling on the sandwiches were a little confusing. The fountain soda machine was amazing. So many awesome different flavors!

We stopped here on the way to DFW to fly back home. I had the Georgia Reuben. It was savory and the bread was very delicious. The bread was also perfectly toasted. We ordered outside on the screen and then wandered the store as we waited for food. There is an excellent selection of food items to purchase and plenty of seating inside and outside. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Such a funky spot with a great atmosphere and the food….unbelievably delicious. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. We sat outside and enjoyed lunch, it was busy, but understandable considering how delicious everything was. I will be back!

It was really good! A Kerrytown staple! Had never been, so this was my first impression. Super fresh deli meat and other ingredients (they’re known for that), as well as nice employees who are ready to help! The downside is the price… $15-20 for a sandwich is crazy. BUT it is worth the hype. The sandwiches are amazing and truly the quality, taste, and flavors are unmatched. I’m not a huge sandwich person myself, but it was delicious and I’d 100% recommend trying it out once. If this isn’t your pace, try the baked good items or shop in the store for another treat! There’s definitely something here for you. Things I learned: 1) this is the original Zingerman’s 2) Oprah was here 3) the pickles are really good 4) Barack Obama came once. Enough said.

Had a great lunch on the patio. Grateful to be able to bring our traveling pup along. The Rueben sandwich was packed with quality ingredients and deliciousness. The portions are very generous. Brought home Jewish rye and bagels.
