Zitz Sum is a 30 seat Asian Inspired restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. Our story, is a story of resilience, passion & commitment, that is translated in a plate of food, excellent service and unapologetic gracious hospitality. Our current menu reflects our love for Japanese food looked through the lens of Italian ingredients and technique.
Zitz Sum is recipient of a 2022 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Award, a 2022 James Beard Foundation Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant and a New York Times 2022 Best 50 Restaurants in America.
We currently offer A la carte menu that changes with the seasons, and a Seven Course Tasting Menu that changes weekly.

An unforgettable experience. My friend told me about this place multiple times, so I knew I was coming to a great experience, but the food at this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Every single dish we tried was delicious and unique. Our only regret was not getting the tasting menu, but now we have one more reason to come back.

If you’re looking for an incredible meal with service to match then look no further!! Finding restaurants here in Miami that are consistent in serving delicious food but also offer great service AND have nice ambience is very difficult post pandemic. I’m happy to report that Zitz Sun still delivers every single time. You are missing it if you don’t make this your next dinner spot. Pro tip, skip trying to figure out what to get since everything is incredible and just go straight for the tasting menu instead…you’re welcome!

We ordered one of each on the dumplings category in the menu and we were surprised by how tasty and creative each of these dishes were! Thank you for bringing out some of the best asian ingredients and giving it a modern twist to each dish. The service was also incredible, the staff was very knowledgeable about the dishes.

Came to this place alone not knowing what to expect! When I walked in I was immediately calmed by the dim yellow lighting and coziness of the place. I sat at the bar & the bartender Berto took care of me. He made me one of his favorite drinks, the llama. It was fire! Berto could see i was a bit overwhelmed by the menu & he recommended I do the tasting menu since it was my first time. Every dish was delicious!!!! The herb salad with scallops and the oxtail bou bun were my 2 favorites! To wrap up my experience Berto made me an espresso martini that really just put the cherry on top of the entire experience. Thank you zitsum and Berto for this amazing dinner and making me feel so welcomed! I will be coming back for sure.

Creative, delicious Asian fusion. An excellent dining experience that may merit a Michelin star, in my opinion. We got the tasting menu which allowed us to try most of the dishes. Everything was excellent! I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. I’m so happy to find such a strong Asian-inspired restaurant in Miami!
