Heard about this hidden gem in the Delaware magazine so I knew I had to try it! Ended up taking my husband and dad here to celebrate an early Father’s Day dinner and we were blown away with each dish. From the moment we walked up, it’s such a cozy place in front and inside is breath taking. We were immediately greeted by the owner who sat us promptly. Our server was so sweet, the service was phenomenal. I absolutely love finding places like this in our own backyard. Zollies got themselves a repeating customer from me! Thank you!!

Stopped in at Zollies for the first time to attend the “Study of Bourbons” event. I was highly impressed with the place. The bar/restaurant has a bit of big city elegance that fits well with the cobblestones of Old New Castle. The owners and staff are very friendly. Our bourbon information was given to us by Gregg who was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot. The food served at the event was various kinds of BBQ. It was absolutely delicious! The pork belly was the highlight. I took the opportunity to peruse their regular menu and it looked very tempting. Combine that with the live music on weekends and I will be back soon! I highly recommend a visit here!

I was soooo excited to finally get to eat here. One of the newer restaurants in Old New Castle, which is really becoming a place for small authentic restaurants.

They did was truly memorable. There were four of us and we ordered a variety of dishes. We were all impressed with our choices. It’s a bit of a drive for us but we will be back.

Beautiful Sunday brunch at Zollie’s. This was my first time here, and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. I had a saltfish/akee/shrimp dish that was delightful. My friend had the juevos y carne and she said it was excellent. We also had dessert – creme brulee and chocolate cake. SO GOOD! There was music, which started closer to noon. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely return.

I can’t say enough about how great this place is! Such a gem in old new castle more people should know about. Friendly staff, the best bartender “D” and amazing food. The menu is always evolving to use the best seasonal ingredients. They have live music some nights which only adds to wonderful atmosphere. Local art hangs on the walls which is great to see the support for small town business. Try this place out ASAP you won’t be disappointed.

I had one of the best meals of my life last night and it wasn’t in NYC, Philly or overseas. If you’ve not yet indulged in this Southern American and Caribbean fusion in Old New Castle as of yet, reserve a table as soon as possible at Zollie’s Jazz Cucina. We started with Chef’s Bayou Gumbo of Crayfish Andouille and Shrimp followed by the Low Country Gullah Shrimp & Grits and Prime Short Rib Pepper Pot. Besides phenomenal cuisine, the ambiance was wonderful with live music, a tender hearted bartender and her ever talented and equally warm husband, the chef. We can’t wait to go back and experience even more of this magic.

This is a hidden gem! The staff and chef are very courteous, friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent (couldn’t resist taking a bite of the chocolate mousse before the photo)! The local art on the walls makes this restaurant even more appealing. We can’t wait to return during a jazz set.

Dinner was good however some things need to be tweaked! First the service was good however the bowl of gumbo was too small. Spicy, served hot though. The oysters and pork belly was good. The duck breast was very good. The seafood paella was not very good. The large langostino was undercooked. A clam was served unopened. I would have preferred a few crawfish that were cleaned and added as opposed to whole. Had a nice moscato bottle. My dad had shrimp and grits and loved them. I will be back and was solid meal. The second Manhattan was made decent size
