This place is amazing. Very creative burgers. I love the zombie atmosphere! I don’t remember what my burger was called but it was a burger in between two fried macaroni and cheese patties. And omg was it amazing topped it off with a fried Oreo milkshake definitely worth checking it out

I have waited to eat at this place for years and been a huge fan on socials. The food ended up being decent. Nothing anyone got really stood out. Our server was rude and rushed every choice and decision that was made at the table. This really took away from the experience. We went in before lunch rush and they were hurting to prepare (not our fault). I did like having the optional gratuity and we took care of him but really undeserved in my opinion.

I’m happy whenever I can get peanut butter on a burger so the Dead Elvis really hit the spot. The poutine was tasty, my drink was amazing, and the kids meals had generous portions. The staff was very friendly, too!

Great food, fast service, and great wait staff. I highly recommend the Walking Ched and the Trailer Trash. Regular fries and sweet potato fries are stellar with ranch or the special sauce. Milkshakes are a must as well – Unicorn shake is popular and the cookies and cake is great as well. They have two options for service: wait to be seated and have a waiter or order in line, pick up your own food and seat yourself. Nice to have options if you want to get your food faster and don’t mind grabbing your own food.

Stopped at Zombie Burger while driving through Des Moines and it was a great stop. The burger was very filling and delicious. The nachos had great flavor and weren’t soggy at all. We got the 4th of July special shake that had actual pieces of apple pie. Overall great experience, I would recommend checking it out and I would love to come back the next time I am in Des Moines.

What brought us to Zombie Burger were the creative and unique burger options along with the fun adult and kid friendly beverages. We chatted with a few customers and the bar tender, who was fun, polite, and experienced. Drinks were great, food was good.

I always make sure to fit in a stop here whenever I’m in town. The burgers are the absolute best. Even my son said it’s the best burger he’s ever had. The shake is a must, as well. Getting it spiked might not be worth it, in my opinion. It didn’t seem to make much of a difference except for the price.
