Place is great. The staff is super friendly it is in a great location for those that like waking in a small downtown area and traveling in to Missoula. And if having to drive over, there is ample parking and worth the drive. They have many options, noodle dishes, rice dishes and the Thai curry options.

Our first experience here was amazing! Loved the window seating, and the egg rolls were some of the best we’ve had. We ordered the pineapple fried rice and the beef noodle dish (3 level spicy, which is just right for us), and they were both delicious. We had enough leftovers for both of us for lunch the next day too, so they were healthy portions! Service was great. They were slammed, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back!

The ingredients were not so fresh. The curry I ordered had rotten potatoes in it and the chicken in the pad Thai was a bit off as well. I’m pretty disappointed at the indifference of whoever cooked our meal tonight. I understand kitchens get busy, but it’s pretty obvious when food needs to be thrown away. I would not recommend eating here until they improve their standards. I dunno, maybe it’s different when you dine in as opposed to take out…

I normally don’t do reviews but this place left such a lasting impression I had to. Simply put this was the best Thai food I’ve had ever had. Just wish I could bring them back home to Seattle. The food is delicious, big portions, and most importantly authentic. Even though it was busy the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere and decor. Truly a gem in Missoula and a must try.

Great first time experience at Zoo Thai when my my wife and I had a date in Missoula. Best Thai I have had in years.

Food was absolutely exceptional. The service left much to be desired due to our waitress being extremely inattentive.

Great Thai food. Very popular. No rez’s allowed is probably my only negative because we were a party of ten. But we just headed over to MO Club for a drink while we waited. Service was great too!

All I wanted on my birthday was a decent meal. My noodles were all clumped together and had to be cut with a knife. Noodles aren’t that difficult. Super glad I paid $21 + tip for a bowl of disappointment. At least the wife’s soup was okay after the soggy take out bag ripped and it fell on the sidewalk. Go to Masala instead.

I can’t speak for how the service or atmosphere has improved over time but the food seems to only get better and better. I have tried all the curries and they are fabulous! Takeout is on time and hot and it is very refreshing to have consistent, delicious Thai in the zoo.

Great Thai food and the best part was that they had lots of gluten-free options, including gluten free beer, and all noodles can be made gluten-free.
