Eggplant falafel sandwich so goodd!! The falafel itself is the best in NYC out of all other places. The eggplant and the sauce is so creamy, and the vegetables inside are crisp and fresh.

I had never tried Egyptian food before and was really excited to try something new. I was delighted with my experience at Zooba. I ordered cheese hawawshi. It was delicious. Although a bit too salty to my taste, it was different from other types of burgers or sandwiches. One hawawshi was enough to make me full. Definitely worth trying.

A fast casual chain from Egypt serving delicious authentic food at a convenient location (as going to Astoria’s Little Egypt can be a hassle). The street hawawshi is better than the cheese or spicy versions; the patty is delicious as is and the extra toppings just get in the way. You can’t go wrong with ordering the koshari or taameya if you don’t want meat.

Love love love the spicy hawawlah burgers. Its very filling, saucy and the bread is crispy. The hot sauce and the sweetness of oranges just goes so well together. Add a side of eggplants and an iced tea, its my $20 Happy Meal

The food was pretty good and filling. I spent a little over $60 for three people to eat. A bit pricey in my opinion for what you are getting but I enjoyed it.

I had dinner at Zooba and was delighted by both the food and decor. The establishment was a mix of retro, foreign, hip, and felt like walking into the restaurant version of Wired magazine full-color prints. I enjoyed the food, especially the Fava Bean Hummus and Roasted eggplant. I attended an open buffet, got to try every single dish, and all were great!

We came here for lunch and had a great, satisfying meal. I really liked the Spicy Hawawshi with Hibiscus Tahina. If you want to try a bowl, I would recommend the Badawi Beef. The Dukla Fries were tasty and seasoned well but a little low on the quantity for the price. The different sauces are all delicious you should try a few of them. Service was great, very friendly. The restaurant was clean and everything is halal.
