I ordered beef stew with white rice. The beef was mostly bone and fat. That was very frustrating. It was not worth the price. The sauce was good. But I basically paid $20 for white rice and sauce. Not sure why they serve that. A few days ago, I was at Teddys Roti Shop across the street. That was much better.

Got the suya platter with plantains and jollof rice. Plantains were not ripe but the suet was very good it was it spicy but it was seasoned well good quality meats and the rice was great. Good portions as well will definitely order from here again.

Ordered the curry chicken and beef with suya, with sides of jollof rice and spinach. I called in the order directly and picked it up myself, expecting a $30 bill, yet somehow these two entrees cost over $50. When I asked about the price because I was clearly being overcharged, the staff member simply pointed to a sign that says “we raised our prices.” The chicken was mostly bone and was so tough that it was inedible, and the beef was too dry to enjoy. The only thing worth eating was the jolla rice. I unfortunately won’t come here again.

I’m visiting MD and decided to try this African restaurant. I ordered jollof rice, suya, and plantains for delivery via Grubhub and I was excited when the food arrived. Sadly, when I opened the package, I did not see any plantain. Instead, they sent me white rice. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with just white rice, but yeah, that really bummed me out.

Best West African food in the DMV area. They have some really good tasting and healthy organic drink to go along with the food. I live in Virginia but when ever I pass by there area I stop by. They have good customer service too.

Placed an order on doordash for pickup and arrived at the pickup time . Then they mentioned that they don’t do door dash and that we have to call and order to order. Because we already drove a while we just put an order in and waited at a table to grab it and go. An hour later, still did not receive my order so we just left. It was not a busy day at all either. Waste of time, don’t bother.

Tried fufu for the first time and it was so delicious with soup. Fun to eat. The lady working last night was so kind and did such a beautiful job making my food.

I ordered the Eru and Nodole with no meat! Both were excellent and delicious! The plantains were fried well in my opinion. People should know there’s a difference btw cultures and how they cook their plantains. For instance, Jamaicans prefer their plantains to be very ripe while Africans and Haitians prefer a slightly less ripe texture. The price is worth it knowing that this is naturally organic food grown in the motherland.
