Really great restaurant! We tried the eggplant parm and soprita pasta – both were fantastic. Sallad and apps were equally good. Service was fantastic – the server explained everything. There’s love in this food, and it’s a step above a lot of the food out on Canton St. Come here for the food – the pizza looks great but we didn’t try it. Very nice oven!

We found this place after a bad experience at Lucca. The place was busy for a Thursday night, but the wait staff and team handled it with class. The food was excellent as well. We will be back.

Made a reservation for 7:30. Was not able to seat my group. The pizza preparation area was in impressive. There did not appear to be any adults running the place. The waiter suggested we sit at the bar and did not talk to us for 30 minutes as we waited at the bar. Go back to canton street.

We love the new owners. Luigi and his wife are great. We’ve only been once before and he remembered our name. The food was great. We had the chicken parm, penne, Brussels, cannoli, and wine. Everything was delicious. This is saying a lot, as my husband is Italian and very particular. So glad to have them in this spot!

Three of us came here for my father’s birthday. We split four dishes: Insalata di Burrata, Etna pizza, Saporita (pasta), and Baccala’ (cod). Biggest problem was picking which was our favorite. They were all that great. Service was perfect. Look at the pictures and then try it yourself.

I hate using the phrase “hole in the wall” to describe a restaurant. Maybe “off the beaten path” is better. Whatever you want to call it, this restaurant is about as far from a chain restaurant as you can get. The service was not only excellent, it was personal. The food is fresh with a homemade taste … I think there must be a basement there with grandmas cranking out the pasta. Mere words don’t do the food justice; just go in and eat. Trust me.
