Nice clean place. PARKING ON THE BACK OF BULIDING. Lovely service by Shawna in the front. She took her time to make sure I was happy with my order and suggested some items on the menu. Food looks good. Fresh and clean. No funky smells like other places around here. I was working around and run this place and wanted to try it. Great choice!!! Again the service was super nice.

This place has been around for more than a few years. The chicken kabob dinner is really good. Good. Had a great price. The pizza is decent. They deliver or you can pick up which is great. Overall a decent place to get dinner or lunch. Try one of the shakes they’re out of this world!

Just popped by to praise ZZ Pizza and Kabob and share my experiences. We get consistently high quality food from ZZ. Usually when I order from a hole-in-the-wall pizza place, my expectations are pretty low. I expect decent pizza and an awful salad that isn’t well thought out or created with fresh ingredients. ZZ seems to care about all its food. From the chef’s special Mediterranean dishes to the pizzas. The one thing we’ve ordered from them that has been lackluster is the chicken fingers & fries. I don’t mind that because what are they going to do? They’re a pizza place run by excellent Mediterranean cooks. I’m sure they just throw frozen Costco chicken fingers and fries in the fry basket. One thing I do like about their fries is that they are unseasoned. So when they arrive, I can sprinkle on Lawry’s and Old Bay ti make them perfect. The last time we ordered (yesterday), the bbq chicken pizza was delicious, with fresh red onion and juicy chicken and the salad was incredible. Nestled in the feta and olives were heirloom tomatoes of several colors and they were deliciously sweet. The banana peppers had the perfect tang. You can tell that ZZ takes time to get their lettuce mix cut down to perfect sizes for your fork. The balsamic dressing seemed homemade. The salad was so good, I barely ate any pizza. We order from ZZ a lot. We’ve tried a lot of places around Brookland/Hyattsville, but I’d recommend this gem in Mt. Rainier anytime.

The new ownership has completely run this place into the ground. They are closed more than they are open. It used to be an excellent late night stop or dinner spot and now they are closed half of the week. Such a shame.

We ordered the Gyros which were delicious with yummy tzatziki sauce and nice soft pita bread. This dish comes with french fries and for $6.99 it’s a deal. The ingredients were very fresh.

These guys do a wonderful job of serving up yummy food at affordable prices. They’re not fancy, but that’s not the point. It’s good comfort food and they’re a great part of the Mt. Rainier community. I almost lived off their chicken parm monster sub when I was home with my first baby.

This is an *outstanding* quality pizza and diverse menu (Greek is great here!) carryout, for what it is–a VERY reasonably priced neighborhood short-order spot. The pizza is hand-tossed, high-quality ingredients, generous portion of sauce and high quality mozzarella. It’s really, really tasty “football” style pizza. The plain cheese pizza (hand-tossed), is so good, most of the time I don’t even order toppings, because why drown the flavor of the crust, sauce, and cheese out with other salty ingredients.

I had their Philly cheesesteak yesterday and was highly disappointed. On top of it being smushed, it had very little meat and cheese. It also had ketchup and lettuce. Ketchup and lettuce on a cheesesteak?!? Absolutely no. The fries weren’t good either. The crinkle cut fries were stale and tasted old.
