Not sure why this place is rated 4 stars. I recently dined here for lunch at was severely disappointed with my meal. I ordered the chicken teriyaki (chef’s special) and was not pleased. Food looks better than it tastes. The chicken was very overcooked. Additionally, it seemed as if it was reheated and not fresh as the restaurant claims. Moreover, there was not the slightest hint of teriyaki flavor. The chicken nor the sauce tasted like it was anywhere in the realm of “teriyaki”. The rice was mediocre at best. I also opted for the Korean style “spicy” chicken wings. Much like the “teriyaki” chicken, the wings seemed to be old and refried, instead of served fresh. If not for the sauce, the wings would have been a complete bust. However, they were drenched in sauce to the point that it seemed like a ordered sauce with a side of wings. While the sauce had a sweet and pleasant taste, it was over used to help hide the old chicken taste and was not spicy (as ordered) at all. Overall, the food is subpar. I will not return to this establishment and I do not recommend others try the food. Recommend others spend hard earned money elsewhere.

Pretty good spot. I got a bowl with Double Pork, Rice, Kim-Chee, and Spinach. The staff were friendly, restaurant was clean, and food was good. This is a place I’ll be returning to in the future. Healthy food and is prepared fast.

First time going and the cashier wasn’t very helpful or patient. But besides that the food was good I got the wings and strawberry banana smoothie my wife got the teriyaki shrimp and peach slush. I didn’t like the fact they charged $3 to substitute fried rice for white rice.

This is my 1st time coming here! Outside the place is bright and many colors and plants. I felt welcomed when I entered. The cashier was very nice and explained how Zzaam works. She gave me suggestions as a first timer there. I absolutely love everything. From the authentic korean food to the boba tea drinks. I was able to even customize my drink❤️❤️❤️. I will recommend anyone who would like to eat something different to come.

Such an amazing place. Food was so authentic. The presentation . Everything came out good. I ended up getting Boba tea as well. Definitely would recommend to a friend or anyone just Touristing in Virginia. Service took a little while due to lot of people traffic but the food was heavily anticipated and it delivered. Worth the wait.

i dont write reviews but i thought it was necessary this time. first, the server didn’t drain any of the ingredients and also overfilled my burrito, so it turned into a soggy mess that wasn’t even wrapped properly. then, the korean corndog was very small (not worth $5 in my opinion. decided to split the korean style wings because I love the ones at domoishi, but they were just regular wings with sweet chili sauce on top, nothing special at all. lastly I got the strawberry milk tea boba and it tasted like bath and body works purfume sprayed in my mouth. I will not be returning especially since i spent a little over $30 for below tier food. I could give less than 1 star I would.

Zzaam! has some great bowls! The Beef bowls has the perfect blend of tastes for any fan. Chicken Katsu has the same story with a well balanced dish. The Hot wings are actually sweet but perfect. Atmosphere of the place is the cherry on top. You’ll love the visit. Highly recommend! Orange Sangira is extremely mediocre. Tastes like chemicals! Boba Tea are great.

Service was great and the employees were very helpful. Definitely enjoyed the matcha. The food was beyond disappointing. The taste of the food lacked flavor and tasted old instead of fresh. The ingredients were wet/watered down within the bowl, did not drain. Ordered 2 different bowls. There is a sign near the register for food that says boldly NO REFUND. Go figure. One and done.

When I search healthy food around this area this Korean place track my eye. Look at a photo online it’s delicious. That’s how my first impression feel. But when I buy one from there , the flavor is off. For example the chicken is dry and spicy. The kimchi only taste sour, the brown rice is cold. And I am not going late night. I was going at 1900.
