53 chophouse is a hidden gem! We stay in mashpee every year and was thrilled to find out a new steak house has opened up! Nancy was very nice and was able to get my party in and made sure we had a excellent experience. Michael our server was amazing gaving us top notch service. We had the gorganzola fondue, and the wagu steak for appetizers which were to die for along with the Caesar salads we started with. All the steaks were very flavorful. We got our steaks with the Bearnaise sauce and truffle butter. All our side dishes were phenomenal, I would definitely recommend Mac and cheese and corn risotto. Our overall experience at the 53 chop was exceptional and will definitely be back again!

We had a great meal at 53 Chophouse. We had the crab cake app and it was tasty and someone had the onion soup and said it was very good. The onion soup was a large bowl. My son had the filet (10 Oz) and he said it was delicious. Three of us had a fish special that was wonderful (tomahawk swordfish). We would have ordered the mashed but we heard it was very garlicky so we went with fries which really were potato wedges. It was busy. The waitress was lovely. The time between apps and dinner was long so don’t expect fast in and out dinner. We relaxed and enjoyed. I would say overall it was a very good meal and experience. I love that it’s a little hidden gem. Just beware- steak prices are pretty high.

We have had excellent breakfasts at Cape Cod Coffee, but werent sure how this nice breakfast place could possibly transform into a first class steakhouse. But they do it, and they hit it out of the park last night! The Waygu stuffed portabella was incredible – out of this world! The Filet was delicious. Michael our waiter was attentive, and Nancy the Manager was charming. One of the best experiences we have ever had! A REAL steakhouse on Cape Cod!!

One star is too many. Understand what you are doing here… you are paying a ton of money for a lousy meal in a coffee house. This place is a joke. They want to pass themselves off as an exclusive steak house except they’re not. Firstly – “reservations only” means anyone can pop in and sit at the bar. Secondly – “formal attire” means sneakers and torn t-shirts. Thirdly – you are eating in a cafeteria. And all that would be ok – if the steak wasn’t grizzly… and the food mediocre but WAY overpriced. Go to a Dennys or a Waffle house and get a better steak and better ambiance. What a joke. Stay away! Horrible! Worst Meal ever!

The meal was absolutely delicious, with each dish expertly prepared and full of flavor. Great meal and experience at 53 Chophouse. Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly, salads were excellent and the craft cocktail was very tasty! The entire staff was inviting and professional. And we didn’t have to drive to Boston to get my steak fix.
