Wow, what an experience. We waited and hour and 20 mins and it was well worth. My friends and I literally ordered one of everything off the menu. After dining, we got a second round of drinks and pastries to go. We were in town for Lollapalooza and this was by far the best restaurant’s that we’ve tried.

I have the opportunity to try these 3 items in picture. I’m not sure if this place is all hype up or something. I think the food is fine (from an Asian person perspective). It’s so expensive for what it is. The croissant is really good, but did not expect it to be on the sweeter side. the rice bowl was fine, the sausage is very well seasoned but again this is pretty typical. is it worth trying? maybe, but I think there are a lot better Asian/filipino restaurants to try in Chicago. The line is long but i ordered pick up so avoid the whole thing.

Well worth the wait. A friend and I went on a Wednesday morning, waiting in like about 40 minutes. The pastries were all amazing and the breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely add a hash brown for an extra layer of crunch.

I ordered pick-up for brunch and it was wonderful. I got the traditional Filipino Breakfast with both sausage and BBQ, the Pork Belly and rice, and the Ube Iced Latte. Everything was delicious, but the real star of the show were the employees.

The food is really good. I definitely recommend the bakery goods instead of the dishes for brunch, not because it isn’t good, but rather I think this is what makes this place different from others. The place was clean and because of summer we were able to sit outside. For a sat morning we arrived around 8:15 and got our food at 9:30. We knew ahead that the pickup option was available too, so in case you are open to that it’s a great strategy to avoid long lines.

Food was great. We had the Filipino breakfast combo meat and black sesame latte along with the salmon danish. Waitstaff was friendly but the counter staff taking orders was just ok. Beware of the long Sunday line. Got there at 9am and waited almost 3 hours. I would recommend for staff to watch the line closely as we realized there were several people cutting. I normally would never wait anywhere near this long, but since we were from out of town, this was our one and only opportunity. Would I do it again? No. Would I go back during the week when it’s slower? Absolutely.

The long wait outside in the hot sun was worth it. The service and the atmosphere was wonderful! The food was excellent! I’m hoping to go again and get the Filipino breakfast again because their Longonista (May have spelled it wrong) was so flavorful and fulfilling.

Came here during the middle of the week to grab lunch. Came around 930AM and waited about 90 minutes or so til I got seated inside. Decided to go with the Filipino Breakfast, with both tocino and longanissa. Longanissa was delicious. The tocino was different. It wasn’t your traditional tocino tho as they used a different pork cut for it. For $18, it’s a bit over priced especially when you see the portion size. The garlic rice wasn’t anything special as well.

Probably the busiest day at Kasama today. A big line, even for the mobile orders. The staff handled it very professionally, and that surpases any wait time I had.
