We had an amazing experience at Professor Pizza on the Tetto rooftop in West Loop. We went on a Thursday evening and it was full of people having a great time. The music was excellent, the decor is trendy, and the views of the city are outstanding. Great place to bring friends from out of town or to have a date.

Ordered the whipped ricotta app and it was pretty good, but had to request a second order of bread slices to finish the spread. Pies take about 15-20 minutes to come out and I appreciate the server letting us know once we ordered.

The atmosphere was fantastic with incredible views of the City. The service was good. Best of all is the pizza…. The most flavorful pizza… It had the freshest ingredients with herbs and spices that were magnificent!!

We had the New York style deluxe pepperoni. The pizza sauce is delicious with chunks of tomato and garlic. The pepperoni and ricotta were a nice balance of salty and creamy. The end of the crust was too bready, I was looking for a dipping sauce to finish a piece.

Possibly the best all around pizza place in the city. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for the Professor. Our last time we ordered a New York style with sausage, a tavern cheese and a grandma cheese. We went simple because we had some boring people coming over for dinner. All three types are great. The grandma is something special. The New York might be the best in the city and the tavern is not too shabby though probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite. Both the sausage and pepperoni are top notch.

Ordered from Professor Pizza today for the first time – an 18” NY-style pizza with sausage, bell peppers, and onions. Far and away the best pizza I’ve had in Chicago. As someone who grew up in New Jersey and has been searching the Midwest for decent NY-style pizza for nearly 20 years, I can say that I’ve finally found it. The cheese blend, crust, sauce, and toppings are all on-point and come together in a great way. So glad this place is right around the corner! Professor Pizza, keep up the good work, and we’ll be back to see you again real soon!

Best pizza in chicago hands down. My favorite is the mushroom leek but everything else is good too. I order a pizza every week. Huge portion great deal. You can tell that the chef really cares about his product just by the taste and the mushrooms he uses. None of the mushrooms are from cans like other pizza joints. Definitely has become my go to for pizza and definitely in my rotation for food weekly. They also offer delivery now too which is super dope.

If you like sweeter sauce you will like this pizza. They make a fantastic sauce that has tons of flavor and use really great ingredients for toppings. The crust is thin and delicious as well. I highly recommend.

Went on a Friday evening around 8:45pm. Host said it would be 40 minutes, but food would be served still. Okay no problem. We ordered drinks at the bar. Music was fun, the weather was perfect. We get a notice 5 minutes after getting drinks our table was ready. Great! We sat for 45 minutes before we had to flag down the manager to let him know everyone was ignoring us. Servers straight up looked at our diminishing drinks and no one bothered to just ask, “hey have you been helped?” Shortly after we got served, everything went smoothly. The pizza was excellent, we got the pepperoni New York style.
