The Event of the Year Party Planning
I’ve enjoyed my 2 experiences here so far! I ordered the Salmon Fries both times! It was better the first time. Over all no complaints. The customer service has been great and the food has been fresh and hot. I’ll definitely be retuning!

So disappointed in my order! After waiting a long time for it to be delivered, I received two of the worst soul food dinners I’ve ever had. The catfish was very soggy. The cheese in the mac was not melted. The pot roast was so soupy. The sweet potatoes were decent, but had too much vanilla. The cornbread and green beans were really good and that’s all we ate. I didn’t realize when I ordered it was from this location. I thought it was the 83rd restaurant. But these meals have definitely put a bad taste in my mouth, so I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer.

I’m so disappointed!!!! The catfish is extremely, way too salty!!! I don’t know what kind of fish breading this is, but it’s not good. The greens lack flavor and had NO turkey meat in them. NONE! Not even a tiny sliver of turkey meat!! The yams and corn bread were okay, but both were a bit too sweet. The strawberry cake definitely tastes like box cake!! I could have purchased a whole box cake mix and can of icing for way less than I paid for this 1 slice!! I’ve waited all this time to try their food and when I finally do, I’m disappointed. Oooh wee it is NOT!!

Ordered pot roast cup cake, Mac and cheese, yams and string beans literally found a metal object in the string beans…smh like for Real DO Better have some integrity to double check orders. I want to say everything else looks delicious however the metal piece in string beans quite disheartening and a turn off. Looks like a burnt boppy pin or something…last order from here

I ordered lamb chops and they were burnt and dried out! I had an Uber Eats delivery and they would only replace them if I drove up there. If I drove, then I wouldn’t have had an Uber delivery!! I’m trying to figure out how to leave a picture of this mess

I usually don’t leave reviews, but they gave me thr WRONG order through uber eats. & this is NOT THE FIRST TIME!! They gave me some one else’s order & I called to speak to the manager & they basically told me there is nothing they can do about it. No refund or NOTHING. I eat here every other week this is crazy I will never order from here ever again in life. They always send me cold old food & I let that slide for so long. DO NOT visit this location horrible workers. & no uber eats did not refund me either!!! They sent me two orders of someone elses food when I ordered baked chicken. They sent me pork chops & beef ! I don’t eat this ! I usually go to the 83rd location NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. SHUT THIS LOCATION DOWN IMMEDIATELY!

The food was SO delicious!! I had Salmon, Collared greens and Mashed potatoes with gravy, Ooohh Wee! It was! Lol. I’ll be going back there when I’m in town for sure. The servers were friendly and the place was clean. Loved it. Also, there was a cereal wall!

I frequent this eatery often and you ALWAYS have to wait…which is cool cause it’s Soul Food but the service is not good…the young people at the counter just look at you and the kids in the back are joking and laughing…cool but is this why it’s taking so long? The food is usually good but on this particular day it is horrible! The yams are firm and have none of the syrupy good juice,the chicken was very rubbery..like not all the way done…Mac & Cheese was consistently good and the greens were fair…This was a Thursday night..I have better success on Weekends….Maybe I will go back…maybe a different location.

I am very upset. Today, my daughter ordered 6 meals for the family. We ordered five (5) Hennessy wings dinners and one (1) lobster dinner. I have eaten here in the past so I was expecting the food to be good, and it was far from it. The wings were dry and hard. The wings tasted like leftover chicken. They didn’t taste the same. The lobster was foul, dry, and overcooked. When we called back to complain, the assistant manager said that’s how the wings are now. They changed the wings and they no longer have a batter. No explanation for the overcooked lobster tail. I asked for a refund.! She said They don’t give out refunds. No replacement meals. Don’t patronize if you are expecting the same quality of food. They will change up on you without a warning.

I was approaching 79th and Western and I seen many vehicles on the street. I literally thought someone was giving something out for free. So I decided to go to the store and order something to eat since it was near dinner time. I ordered a Salmon salad with no bacon and a large tea with a side of macaroni and cheese. THE SALAD WAS MADE FRESH AND THE MACARONI WAS FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN. The consistency of the food had not waiver from another location. It was delicious. I even forgot to put the dressing on my salad. I will return and thank you for your service. Peace.
