Our evening was so fantastic. Service was top notch – Zoey and the whole crew took great care of us. The food was so flavorful with lots of complexity and deliciousness. Every dish was so good. We had the curried cauliflower, bread and butter board, gnocchi, wedge salad, half chicken, short ribs, and choc torte dessert. I recommend every single thing we had!!! Looking forward to next time.

Food was solid and tasty. I like the weekly rotating menu. Great addition to our neighborhood! Service was a bit off with timing w the kitchen, but not a big deal.

We got berated by an off-shift waiter (who got up from the bar and came to our table) because we asked if the fryer had both gluten free & non-gluten free items. We had asked both the food runner and server and neither seemed sure. We clarified a third time with our server, and that’s when dude came over. I guess he had some after shift drinks and may have had a tiny bit of pent up frustration with gluten free diners (totally fair, we’re a burden, we get it! That’s why we tip well).

So so good, we used to be big fans of the original C&C, but this new spot blew our expectations out of the water. Some of the best tasting food you can get in Chicago, absolute hidden gem.

Above average, but not great (yet). Brasserie only opened a couple months ago and they’re still learning. One of my party had the crispy skin salmon, and it was great…perfectly prepared. I had the short rib and it wasn’t as tender as hoped. Our server didn’t know what an aerator was, and we had to show him how it worked. He said he was brand new, and I’m forgiving, so no harm no foul. Disappointed not to meet chef. I sent an expensive glass of wine that we brought with us to the kitchen for him. He visited the table next to us, but not us. I’m going to give it a few months and try it again.

Took advantage of the FREE pasta class with the owner Brad and had a blast learning. Went on to go for the 3 course $35 tasting/wine menu. I mean it when I say this- best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. Unbelievably good. The bartender Matt was a joy, and Jesse the head chef is incredibly talented. 10/10 recommend! Will be coming back and recommending to all

Wonderful time last night at this neighborhood gem. The staff was attentive and very professional and the food was truly delicious. We sampled a number of items on the menu including their homemade bread with toppings, the foie gras croquettes, the ribs, a special scallops main and shared a classic crème brûlée. All rated high in flavors, presentation, and quality – kudos to the kitchen. The wine list was fine with good options to pair. We will be back!
