We had a party of 8 on a Friday evening. The service was great. It is BYOB. We had 3 appetizers. And all an entire. The food came out one or two at a time, but it was very well presented and very tasty. The menu has great vegetarian and vegan options (more than a couple of items). The whole bill was about $160 without tip. I would certainly eat here again.

Delicious menu with great options that you can’t find elsewhere. They are also BYOB! The award-winning Coca Cola tacos were above and beyond. We enjoyed everything from the enchiladas tres moles to the guacamole with mango. We will be back!

Wow we are very impressed!! Especially by the extensive vegetarian/vegan menu options (I don’t eat meat). It’s always fun to eat somewhere that puts effort into the non-meat options. I had the Patatas Criollas tacos – I literally can’t wait to come back and try the other options.

Food was good, mole wasn’t authentic and was very watered down, rice way too crispy but it’s understandable, mole is too complicated to make and you have to be a good cook to come up with a good mole so not mad at it. Loved the Birria Tacos and Street corn for sure, orchata was tasty as well. Great costumer service.

I found myself in the area and craved Mexican food. I decided against the popular opinion of ordering tacos and ordered a torta instead. As you can see, the plate’s presentation is excellent, but the flavors are not so much. The fries are fresh, but they are nothing special—just plain potato. The torta needed more sazón. The meat was bland and required salt and seasoning. I could not taste the flavors that encompass a traditional torta de asada. The service also lacked amicableness. I had to ask for a straw and was served a salad without a fork. Although there’s a Mayan calendar on the wall, I was not feeling any positive feelings about this experience. I may argue that I should have gone to McDonald’s and gotten something that had more flavor.

The vegan Mexican food from here is why I came. Places that offer it are far and few in between even in Chicago and their food is for sure a must try for any cultures vegans visiting the city. I had the enchiladas and 3 mole sauces on one plate was definitely a new thing for me but I loved them. I think I would personally mash the potato inside with seasoning tho so 4/5 will be coming back!

We were attracted by The Adelitas’ great ratings and found out why they’re so high! Everything was perfect, the service, the food, and the ambiance. It is BYOB so be prepared if you want alcohol. The house chicken with mole’ sauce was freshly made and out of this world delicious. The soft tacos were lovely and the guacamole and chips were delicious too. Our awesome server informed us that a woman will be singing there this Sunday at 1 pm, and we’re thinking of checking it out.

Listen. I visited because I was with a friend and her coworkers. I have never heard of this place. My first concern was if there would be anything tasty for a vegan/vegetarian. Girl…the avocado burrito is chef’s kiss delicious. It’s hard to get vegan/vegetarian options that meet the African American seasoning standards. The kitchen at Adelitas understood the assignment. I could not believe how well-seasoned the beans and rice were and then topped with an incredible sauce. It is all love in the food at Adelitas.
