I live in Rogers Park and refuse to go to any other Popeyes. The food is always fresh and hot. My orders are always correct. The store including the bathrooms are always clean. And the customer service can’t be beaten.

This was our neighborhood spot for good chicken value and service for years. Until recent new Management, staff and chicken. This business change is a bust! Front staff of either Indian or Paki-sorry couldn’t tell from speech, are very rude. They speak to you rudely, but with a smile and thank you. Then you can tell they are talking rudely about you in their native language-tells from their looks and animation. The prices are higher and amazingly, we’re getting chicken the size of pigeons. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were pigeons. Pay more, get way less in service and CHICKEN. Nope, No more from this popeyes. You get better deal just going to Costco or Sam’s get an entire Roast Chicken for $6, then get the sides. All for less than what Popeyes charge for a family meal. This is just a better suggestion.

We don’t go to Popeye’s often but decided to have dinner there tonight. We ordered two dark 3pc meals and asked for all thighs. It was pretty busy and they didn’t have enough for both orders so she asked if we would want to wait for them. We said yes and they were ready in a little less than ten minutes. However, while eating outside we saw we got one thigh and five drumsticks. We were disappointed but started eating them anyway. A few minutes later a gentleman we assumed was the manager/owner asked each table if everything was good. We told him what our original order was and he promptly fixed it by bringing more thighs. I told him that we were pretty surprised to have ANYONE ask how everything was, especially at a fast food restaurant. We thanked him (twice) and felt his service deserved a good review!

The new female manager needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY… I have NEVER witnessed anyone that disrespectful and unprofessional at work in my life before. The GM or owner need to look into this before it gets out of hand. I saw her yelling at the workers just last night in front of customers she definitely not a manager type.

Exceptional service, Soehl and the kind woman at the register is the best service I received from a Popeyes in YEARS. I wanted to leave a tip so bad but I couldn’t because the system didn’t have an option to leave a tip. Subway and Giordanos does it, why wouldn’t you all? This staff DESERVES that. I received my food super fast and it already tastes amazing. Well done, Popeyes, you restored my faith in you all because of this location. All restaurants should work this way, it’s better to have a large staff that works well as a team like this one, you could just tell they were all vibing and having fun yet remaining productive and professional. Maybe put the tip option so that way it will attract more people to work for Popeyes in general. It was sad I couldn’t leave a tip for such excellent service and product. Oh and it was squeaky clean in there as well like it made me feel comfortable, I would of dined in if I didn’t have to be somewhere since it was so clean.

Horrible experience with the new owners. We noticed they were open late one Fri night so we said ok, something quick! Walk in & there’s 4 ppl waiting. Didn’t realize what was going on until it was our turn to order & some random dude walked in & cut in front of us with his phone almost in my face. I don’t tolerate ppl cutting lines! So I said something & the “manager” says, oh that’s Uber orders. Um ok but we’re (walk-in customers) priority! 30 min later still no food. So we asked what in the world is taking so long & he called the cops on us because we said that Uber ppl were getting priority over everyone waiting. Then to make things worse I noticed numerous health code violations. Trust me I know the restaurant biz (•‿•)
