Went here with my boyfriend for my 23rd birthday and had a great time. Our server had great energy and was kind and attentive to us. We ordered the whole duck to share between the two of us and it was plenty of food and delicious. It came with bao buns and red cabbage and a sweet glaze; the intention was to make it into little sandwiches, which was very fun and a great meal. They brought the whole cooked duck out to us to show us before we were served, which was a cool touch. They have a unique menu with things I’ve never seen before. Overall recommend.

All star experience! The restaurant is sleek and modern. The rooftop dining option offers a picturesque cityscape experience. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable on all menu items. Me and my co-diner both had a beehive cocktail–It was perfectly balanced with sweet and savory made with quality liquor. The star of the show was the food, from the appetizer, to the main course, to the yummy cotton candy (this is not your ordinary cotton candy!). We were both blown away. The octopus and scallops were perfectly cooked. I can not recommend this restaurant more.

My partner and I went here for our first anniversary together and it was absolutely breathtaking views of the city at night and it was super romantic . Our waiter was really nice and the drinks were not only beautiful but delicious. I got the salmon and I give 4/5 for the food because the piece was kinda small for the price and I was still kinda hungry. Everything was presented beautifully and would come again to try the duck

Had a fantastic dinner at WoodWind, will definitely be returning! The 21 Day Dry-Aged Whole Duck was delicious on top of the drinks and shrimp toast. Our server was perfectly attentive and felt like he was always nearby, phenomenal service. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment. Do note the entrance is a bit hard to find, enter on Erie St, not Ontario. The elevator up is located within the Lavin Family Pavilion.

This place was quite divine. Menu was filled with yummy unique dishes.flavors were balanced and suitable. the highlights had to be the peas and carrots crostini as well as the chickpea fries. Do yourself a favor and get the prix-fixe and try a whole lot! Portions were modest, however there are four. Drinks were delicious, plenty of choices. Inside of the restaurant was nice, but the rooftop hits different. Opportunities for improvement were I felt too much time lapsed between courses and my opinion is that the dessert left a bit to be desired. Overall I will be back. Bring your man, bring your mama, bring your neighbor and check this place out!

Superb meal and setting just off the Magnificent Mile. The menu is inventive and our choices were all delicious. We especially loved sharing the Smoked Trout Dip. And the flavored cotton candy at the end was a sweet surprise.

What a fabulous place to eat hidden away in the middle of it all! I was searching for good food in River North and kept seeing the same places over and over, until woodwind popped up on my radar. We were so very impressed with the place; multiple food options with interesting and unique takes in a gorgeous spot with excellent service. We had the scallops, the gnocchi, and the maitake along with some wine and each dish was exceptionally crafted and rather delicious. I’ll be recommending this spot for sure for anyone in the area and for those working at the hospital. Brilliant!

If I could give 100 stars I would! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!! Elijah was our server he went above to explain every item we ordered, from our starters to the entree. My husband and I shared the Tomahwak, I didn’t take a picture but words can’t describe what the chef did to the steak. AMAZING!!
