Great food, fantastic atmosphere, this restaurant is nothing like you will find in any airport hotel! It is worth staying in the Hilton just to have dinner and cocktails at the Gaslight.

Had a cancelled flight at O’Hare and stayed at the Hilton on site at the airport.I found this wonderful spot. It was like going in a Time Machine back to the 20s. beautiful scenery, art and great service and food. Thank you to Carol on the bar, chefs for a great meal, and lovely all around experience.

The restaurant is gorgeous. The service though not so much. Waitress was very polite but did not take care of the table at all she came by only when absolutely necessary. We waited an extremely long time for the waitress to realize our meal was finished and cleaned up so we could get our check. The food was mediocre at best, zero seasoning on the overpriced steak (it was however cooked to order perfectly) and no side dishes are included with any of the steaks.

Went here for dinner while on a business trip. The place has great decorations and looks beautiful. When I was I here there was only one other guest for some of the time, after which I was the only guest. The food was ok and served quick. Presentation of the food wasn’t much. With the grilled meals, nothing comes standard. No fries or vegetables. The prices are exaggerated for what you get. Staff was obviously bored on spend a lot of time on their phone. Don’t know what was on it but it was much more interesting than a chat.

The service was great the food is lousy. The tomatoe and onion salad with crumble blue cheese lacked real flavor and wishbone dressing doesn’t pair well with crumble blue cheese. The NY strip was fatty and not cooked as requested. For 78.00 I should have went to the hotel’s restaurant.

Sasha on piano creates a smooth ambiance reminiscent of a bye gone era. And Jim Bradley will melt your heart singing songs from everything to Frank Sinatra.

Had the veal marsala. It was very enjoyable. The starter bread was a bit too toasted in places but was still good. The service was good and the entertainment was pleasant. Interesting decor and a nod to the prohibition era speakeasy was fun.

One star because it’s not possible to give negative stars. Worst service ever! Waitstaff incredibly inexperienced, plus probably understaffed. The food was reasonably good, and actually fairly prompt relative to everything else, like water, bread, silverware, bread plates, etc. Coffee at the end of the meal took 20 minutes! All staff, hostess, waitress and assistant were absolutely indifferent, hardly taking notice of us at all.

The food was extremely overpriced and the service was horrible. My friend and I spent $150 for dinner and was very disappointed.
